I would have had Kings Of Leon and Empire State Of Mind going through at the expense of Swift and Morrison, in all honesty. And I'm not sure whether Adele would have made my top 4 - would certainly have been close though.

They should be the DL’s honorary team (okok, along with Fort William) as that’s where we invented the DL a mere 6 months before Cov won the 1987 FA Cup. Several of us, including Grim, went to both the qf and semi, the latter a raucous day in Sheffield. This qualified us for tickets to the final, which was scuppered by the local constabulary, who ordered the club to sell tickets early to avoid people camping out at Highfield Road for 48 hours. So we didn’t go to Wembley, but we did do the stagger into town to celebrate with complete strangers, which is a great, blurry memory. Ah nostalgia, beer mats for goalposts isn’t it …
Couldn't have done much better without winning it. Very unfortunate but a terrific performance by the Sky Blues.

Possibly, though imo it’s perfectly good even with Crookers. I think some of the downvotes are coming from those who want to end the round as quickly as possible (against the spirit of the game but it happens)I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm downvoting it because I like it less than all the other remaining songs.

Can't argue with that at all.

Edit - Actually no don't, I can chip in with music industry chat. Little Mix were f**d over by the industry. They were strong women with chart hits and yet they struggled to win Brit Awards (10 nominations and 3 wins). It also affected their mental health.
Well, given that there are usually five nominations for each award, 3 out of 10 seems a pretty healthy return to me.

1 hour ago, lilham said:Yet at the time of the song, she was inviting the paparazzi over to her house to have sex with her and do drugs. There's video of her inviting them over. She was purposefully trying to get pregnant by one of them, Adnan Ghalib, as a way to replace her two children; he was married with children too ofcourse -- that's her type. There's photos of them buying a pregnancy test together at Rite Aid. If you really wanted to do a middle finger to the paparazzi, you wouldn't just move them in with you.
No, I don't like her. She was a music industry plant in order to keep other female music artists in line (ie, those who play at Lilith Fair, riotgrrl, female hiphop). Everything about her is fake, and unfortunately influential. She sounded like AI on that Blackout album. Many female artists have complained that the standards now in the studio is to just sing syllables like her so it can be copy/pasted together, rather than just performing music.
But we're voting on the music, not the artist. Piece Of Me is a good catchy song, and definitely shouldn't be going out ahead of some of the others in this list. That said, it's not good enough for me to be upvoting it
