I am going to propose that Last Word should be added to QO rules in the (in the unlikely event a subject is covered without any other qualifying obituary but could happen - especially towards the end of each year when such a QO might not appear.)

I hope the complaints on here about the delay didn't make someone feel they needed to rush the posting and make the mistakes.

Did she attend his trial? Rolf's wife must be a good actress if she faked it as she looked like was ready to go.

Possible - through too soon means even more ate announcements like Bob Hawke would miss out. -
Mail Online consider themselves a separate entity to the Daily Mail through really it's the same as the different divisions of BBC news.
-
Surprised she is still alive - she looked like she going to go soon during his trial.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7071197/Rolf-Harris-lives-recluse-9M-house-looking-dying-wife-61-years.html Should articles written by Daily Mail Australia, using Aussie references to cover British facts, be eligible to be a QO? They written by Australians in Australia I believe - there only Britishness is sharing the server with Mail Online.

Holiday apparently. -
Claims she won't go until the next election - but voting for things she clearly doesn't believe in might see her change her mind like David Cameron did.
-
Next question. Will she ever make a deathlist in twenty/thirty years time?
-
Is he famous enough?
-
She will get articles and maybe some front pages (Broadsheets where more stories make the front page) because she is the last well known star of 1930's hollywood and one of the most iconic films of all time but it won't be a top headline job unlike what Doris got and what Vera will get.

Looking at old threads and I saw some people suggesting rules should be amended so that at least one non UK obituary is required. Of the British celebs on the list who would fail that? John McCricick doesn't seem to have any non Uk or Ireland fame. Cleo Lane and June Brown would suffer. Emmerdale is popular enough in Sweden for Leah's demise to get reported there. Of course all reasonably well known British celebs get Irish obituaries as well -
