Christopher Olsen who played her son in the Man who Knew Too Much is still alive aged 72(and has paid tribute to her) and so is Billy Gray who played her son in By the Light of the Silvery Moon aged 81. Jacqueline Beer is still alive from the cast of Pillow Talk - aged 86. Probably others as well.

Falls are often bad at that age but then being operated means you have to be fairly fit.

Also I am pleasantly surprised how much coverage she has received here in the UK. Top headline on the BBC news website and second on Sky News, top headline on BBC radio for example. I haven't heard it yet but fellow member of the 2019 death list Dick Van Dyke was on the radio paying tribute to her.

Also no funeral or memorial service will be held (So not opportunity to form spot any elderly famous people who might have attended).

Up to three on mine with the death of Doris (Number 1 on my list for no particular reasons - they are others on my list I expected to go before her simply for being older or with known serious illnesses.

I wonder if obituary ever look on here to see who they need to prepare ones for. Also her obituary gets it's own BBC Breaking News tweet (Separate to one announcing her death) which is pretty rare and only done a few times a year at most.

With the sad death of Doris Day maybe time for Angela Lansbury to return to the list?

Clearly it is a suspected suicide . The only other thing i can think of is someone has been murdered due to revelations from the show. It will come out because the death is surely going to have an inquest. Daniella has confirmed on twitter she will still be a guest on Loose Women tomorrow.
