I think the UK is going to withdraw soon as Israel is heading towards suspension and I don’t think the BBC could continue to take part with the backlash suspending Israel will bring with the press and politicians.

From what I have read before he wasn’t the most popular person on the Corrie set.

He was an ex miner who spent a couple of decades down the mines. Ex miners don’t tend to live past life expectancy. Dennis Skinner is an exception.

New constituency being formed.
Sort of but 80% of his current seat is being kept together. Labour held Blaydon and Tory Held Durham North West are the seats really being split up.

I think everyone knew after the stabbing incident but he never confirmed it as he stayed married to his wife.

I wonder when the footage in that trailer was filmed. The documentary looks good so I might track it down somehow and watch it.

A miss for my Eastenders theme team as she appeared in Eastenders.

The second most shocking thing from her speech today after some of the content is the god awful background they had. It made her look like a computer animation.
Plus she also doesn’t even know her audience that well. She is going about the left being helped by Russia but the republicans increasingly love Russia.

Speaker's handling of Gaza vote very concerning, says Rishi Sunak. -

Even a VoNC doesn’t necessarily remove a speaker, though it makes commons proceedings practically impossible.Michael Martin was up to his tits in it. Hoyle has angered several dummy-spitters but I highly doubt it’s tenure-ending. There’s an outside chance he’ll take it upon himself to resign but the process of electing a new one hardly brings calm to the already chaotic house.
You’re as much of a fucking weirdo as Rod Liddle.
Sounds like Rishi Sunak wants Hoyle out going by his latest comments.

But I'm sure that Covid has left its mark by indirectly killing people with other conditions who would have survived their illness if they had been diagnosed and/or started treatment earlier.
Plus some medical staff have become too comfortable in using telephone and online systems which shut out many people because of lack of access or lack of connivence (My GP does all day telephone calls which are a pain as you have to be on alert for the phone ringing for hours).

What is Truss aiming for here? Return to the Tory Leadership? A (Shadow) cabinet role? GB news presenting role?

I think for the Tories it is that he is seen as bending rules to protect Labour from Hamas supporters and putting their anger solely onto the Tories rather than Labour. Meanwhile the SNP are simply annoyed they didn’t get the opportunity to say Labour was anti ceasefire - they don’t care as much about the Tories.

The list includes 1922 committee members William Wragg, Gary Sambrook (eats big dinners) and Sir Gnashers Brady, as well as intellectual powerhouses 30p Leenoch and Brendan Clarke-Tit, and a handful of SNPnises including Joanna Cherry and John Nicolson.
I still doubt this'll amount to anything.
I’m not so sure. It’s all the influential Tory backbenchers with the SNP as helpful assistants (just like in 1979. )
My guess is he resigns before a vote to remove him.
