What a pile of utter wankspeak.

What he describes is not the country I live in, nor my community. This is fearmongering shite, designed to heighten differences and divisions, not ameliorate them.

What an utter, utter little Londoner narrow minded pile of garbage.

I don’t think Sunak is a little Londoner. Someone with a London mindset would much more liberal. London is as liberal as Glasgow.

  2. I feel like attacking. George Galloway like this only makes him more powerful. Galloway is scum but he has a knack of whipping people up and attracting support.  Much of the white progressive far left had turned on him over his transphobia and other comments but this might see them ignore that and get back cosy with him

  3.

I think it might be to announce he is going to prevent George Galloway taking his seat.

And also ban protests in central London. With threats to impression anyone attending.

  4. It’s more local elections where Labour could lose badly. In the general it’s some swing seats where the Tories have realistic chances of winning if the Labour vote is split. I’m not sure there is enough of them to allow the Tories to be largest party and win.

Rees-Mogg isn’t going to lose his seat. Neither is Penny Mordaunt. I’ve seen the internal polling for these constituencies. Ppl get way too carried with by-election results.

Feel free to bookmark this post.

One thing in Politics is never trust is internal polling. Parties nearly always seem to manage overestimate themsieves in them,

Mordaunt I agree is safe through but Rees - Mogg is at risk if Labour heading towards 400 seats. I think through Reform is being overestimated which will keep Labour at 340 seats or less so they won’t be many big Tory casualties.

I've read he's already got his eyes on Derby South for the GE, the seat Margaret Beckett is standing down from. As you say, he cares not one fuck about the people who put him there.

That feels a somewhat odd seat as it’s only about 20% Muslim. If he doesn’t feel that he can hold Rochdale it’s hard to see him winning Derby South.

If he in fact died on Leap Day he would have to be one of the (if not theeee) biggest name to do so.  I haven’t seen anything saying his death was Thursday, only that the obit posted then.

Most likely was. Death announced at just before 6pm local time and big names like that don’t tend to be dead for 18 hours before an announcement.

The fools of Rochdale have elected Galloway.

I can tell you right now who will represent. Those he has always represented. The Arab states. Oil and gas suppliers.

His rambling speech at the count paid lip service to the needs of Rochdale. His true alliance is of course to the deserts of the Middle East. They have but a few months to realise their mistake in electing this self-important fluffed up politician who lines his pockets with oil money.

Other than that, I'm equivocal about him.

Not sure he likes the oil and gas suppliers that much. Majority of them are now considerably less anti Israel than he is.

Brian Mulroney, 18th Prime Minister of Canada (1984-1993), has died aged 84.

In terms of leaders still with us from the major players in the 80s, there’s only really Joe Clark (16th Prime Minister of Canada) and Jimmy Carter left. Nobody from UK, France, Germany, Soviet Union, China, Australia, Japan etc.

DDP Hit when an Obit comes.

Probably the most significant leader after Carter still alive is Felipe González of Spain but Spain’s influence wasn’t that great in the 1980’s.

Depends on the circumstances surely ? Like if say he was in the house by himself and was found dead.

Someone local to me died in their House a few years ago from a heart attack and wasn’t found for a week or so. No inquest once the post mortem confirmed heart attack. An inquest simply wouldn’t be held for a natural death.

George Michael’s death for example. No inquest. Same with Sinead O’Connor.

A lot of this shit is stirred up just to make a story.  There is an organised band of Sussex supporteers on Twitter who have been spreading ridiculous rumours about Catherine, such as that she is dead, William strangled her and it's being covered up.  The media won't go that far, but it gives them ideas.

Feels odd that the most anti Meghan and Harry media would do that as well. And in their print editions as well.
