Good riddance... Hard for me to reconcile Phil’s massive artistic contributions with his utterly demented personality. I’m honestly surprised he only killed one person in his life, considering he was always flailing his gun around like an unhinged Yosemite Sam.

Obscure, but I think best suited to this thread: Core member of Frank Zappa's onetime experimental girl group The GTOS, Miss Mercy Peters, has passed away according to social media posts from her friends.

32 minutes ago, msc said:I don't predict enemas or what not, but I do feel the big headline death this year will be remembered for (ie Bowie in 2016, Bush Sr in 2018) hasn't happened yet.
I sense it too...

The classic T. Rex lineup of 1971-73 is long gone with the exception of drummer Bill Legend. Bolan's partner Steve Peregrin Took from the band's first incarnation as a duo is also dead, but there are a handful of later members still living.

Marianne has tested positive for Coronavirus and is currently being treated in hospital. Though she’s apparently responding well, with her age and medical history this is a cause for concern. Hoping she pulls through.

Hello there everyone. I came across the Deathlist several years ago in a high school health class (no, it was unfortunately not part of the curriculum). Nonetheless I was immediately engrossed, despite being told off for not paying attention. Since then I have periodically returned to satisfy my sick fascination with celebrity death. After a particularly long browsing session, tonight I decided it was finally time to make an account. Looking forward to taking part

As an overweight diabetic with a second-hand-liver and eight stents in his heart who frequently spoke of his impending demise I’m surprised so many people agreed with the decision to take him off this year’s list. That being said I’m impressed by the quantity and quality of his artistic output in his final years. Rest In Peace David, you were a superb musician and countercultural icon.
