    Political Frailty

Sad news, I respect Alenius a lot. Hoping he's doing fine, one of the few Finnish politicians to disagree with the Soviet Union, condemned the invasion of Czechoslovakia the same day it happened. Video released of Parkash Singh Badal: Looks fine. Won't be his last hospitalisation.

    Ideas and possibilities for 2023

There are a few pictures that are allegedly from recent years such as this one, possibly taken in November 2019 However I would not be suprised if she has died and her death has gone unnoticed as I doubt Russian media would report her death...

I think I mentioned this a while ago but Silayev already has a grave and has had for over a decade: As far as I know he hasn't been seen in public for a long time. Suprised she's still going. Also mentioning Vera Putina: woman who claims to be Vladimir Putin's mother. Now 95.

A list I've thought of doing for a while, now remembered it again Maryport's Midsummer Madness Dead Pool (MMMDP) survivors by year (2022 excluded, better wait a while until more of those names start to die...) 2016: Leslie Phillips (Died 7 November 2022) Pope Benedict XVI (Died 31 December 2022) 2016 full list: 2017: June Lockhart Ami Brown Muhammadu Buhari 2017 full list: 2018: Mayor Doug Lachance Carmella James (MMA fighter) Leslie Phillips (Died 7 November 2022) 2018 full list: 2019: MC Ren Ric Flair Pervez Musharraf (Died 5th of February 2023) Vivian Pickles 2019 full list: 2020: Peter Tobin (Died 8 October 2022) Derek Draper (Died 5 January 2024) June Spencer Frank Ifield Glenn Keast (football coach) Leslie Phillips (Died 7 November 2022) 2020 full list: 2021: Azam Khan (Uttar Pradesh politician) David Battie Imelda Marcos MC Ren Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee Mary Quant (Died 13 April 2023) Susie Steiner (Died 2 July 2022) Alejandro Jodorowsky Martti Ahtisaari (Died 16 October 2023) 2021 full list: 2022 (added 2 June 2023): Alexander Kojo Kum (Alexander Kodwo Kom Abban) Steve McMichael "El Bronco" Jaime Rodríguez Calderón Frank Field Colonel Mikhail Khodarenok Ruben Studdard Dr. Greg Mears Um Aing-ran Red Farmer Abdel Rahman Abou Zahra Lloyd Geering Janice Laking Ethel Caterham Bob Barker (Died 26th of August 2023) 2022 full list: 2023 (spoiler list added 7 January 2024): 2016 will obviously be the first year to go "extinct", I predict the other years will have one or two long-term survivors. Ami Brown and/or Buhari for 2017, Lachance and/or Carmella James for 2018 (I know nothing about the current conditions of either one of them, but Carmella James eventually woke up from her coma and could talk using sign language in 2019. Was "on the road to recovery" back then) MC Ren for 2019 & 2021 and Glenn Keast for 2020. Keast seems to have completely recovered from his heart attack while all the others seem to be hanging on by a thread (except June Spencer, but she'll be 103 in two days!)

What I understand from recent news is that the good old bigot's wife has suffered from Alzheimer's for a couple of years and while being her carer he started using antidepressants: https://www.is.fi/kotimaa/art-2000008871760.html Article is behind a paywall but seems to be doing better now. His wife, Ritva, lives in a care home now. Forgot to mention this one: Anton Tus (1931-2023) Croatia's only living five-star general and first Chief of the General Staff 1991-1992. Can't find any recent articles, I wonder how he's doing.

    Jeff Bridges

https://variety.com/2022/scene/news/jeff-bridges-cancer-covid-the-old-man-1235290551/ Some kind of an update here. Seems like he barely survived covid but is doing much better now and working again: While undergoing chemotherapy, Bridges contracted COVID-19 and spent five months in the hospital fighting for his life. Bridges explained that at the time, he wasn’t worried about whether he would ever be able to work again as he had become almost resigned to death. ... However, Bridges began to envision returning to “The Old Man” after achieving a series of health milestones. “I would have little goals all through my illness,” he said. “The first goal was seeing how long I could just stand up, and my record was 45 seconds for a long time. That was about as much as I could take, walking down the hallways of the hospital with your walker and your oxygen.”

    Political Frailty

At this point I completely agree. She looked bloated when she was hospitalised in April, but a new picture of her was posted on twitter (late April I recall) where she looked fine. As if they applied a ton of makeup to make her look ill... She is ill, arthritis and maybe heart/lung issues but no way she is as ill as they say she is. (From tbsnews' article: Khaleda, a 76-year-old former prime minister, has been suffering from various ailments, including liver cirrhosis, arthritis, diabetes, kidney, lung and eye problems.) I'll believe she was very ill when she dies. Her party/cult has already made this a political issue again

    The Ones That Got Away...

From Decider.com: Out of the nine survivors who escaped the fire, David Thibodeau has been the most open about his time with the cult. As mentioned before, he wrote a book about his time with the Branch Davidians and worked as a consultant on the miniseries. The other survivors of the Branch Davidians were Renos Avraam, Jaime Castillo, Graeme Craddock, Clive Doyle, Misty Ferguson, Derek Lloyd Lovelock, Ruth Ellen Ottoman Riddle, and Marjorie Thomas. Of the eight, Avraam, Castillo, and Craddock all served prison time due to what they did with the Branch Davidians. The remainder of the survivors have largely kept to themselves and have maintained peaceful lives. Jaime Castillo died from liver failure and hepatitis at 40 in 2008. Seven still alive as far as I know.
