Director James L. Brooks plans to bring Nicholson out of retirement for another film

He could very well be an end of year hit. His wife did speak of "terrifying fears of loss"; he cannot have too much longer to go.

Underwent open heart surgery last year He has also looked like a walking heart attack for the past two decades. Unlikely to make really old bones.
-
Does he have any new inside information on Schumacher?
-
Clint is also looking very frail these days, and even I would approve of his inclusion on the 2024 DL!
-
I envision roughly 9 returnees (Attenborough, Akihito, Chomsky, Whale, R. Castro, Law, Redgrave, Farrakhan, Doherty). About time Michael Schumacher gets a debut on the DL, same for Leontyne Price, Michael York and Joan Plowright. Brian Blessed would also be an understandable addition, given his wife's recent death. Some surprisingly effective 2024 wildcards may be John Prescott, Michael Moriarty, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump (if he goes next year, won't be natural death though) and Jeremy Clarkson.

Attended a Halloween festival with Jane Seymour

But does he qualify in the UK?
-
Denis Law will 100% return to the DL in 2024, for the following reasons 1. The death of Bobby Charlton calls for another footballer candidate 2. He is the only survivor of the United Trinity, and the Committee don't like missing big footballer names 3. He has been suffering from Alzheimer's and vascular dementia since 2021 4. He is one of the only candidates dropped from the 2022 DL, still alive. American actor Ryan O'Neal should also be seriously considered for the 2024 DL, given his prior run-ins with leukemia and prostate cancer, but of course less likely to be chosen by the committee.

Stein is arguably one of the UK's most renowned chefs. Anyway, the only one I know other than Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver.
-
Keeping active on his weekly podcast- Clear + Vivid Still sounds sharp, potentially one to be dropped in 2024.
-
With a quarter of the candidates dead, Angie Dickinson, Hal Linden, Robert Duvall, Alan Alda and Mel Brooks are currently looking the most likely possibilities for the last survivor. Although with the highest votes, it won't be Shane MacGowan. I now also doubt it will be Dick Cheney.

Podcast from earlier this year Sounds much better than expected, members who picked Sonny as the 14th Death of 2023 will be disappointed...

Here is clip She looks good, but sounds very gravelly, and is shaking throughout. She also mentions she is having lung issues. A must for the 2024 DL, as of now. Franco Nero, on the other hand, seems in great health, could last until 2030 at this rate, although Vanessa's upcoming death will have a large strain on him.

Donald P. Bellisario, producer of Magnum P.I., Airwolf and JAG. Will be facing that dangerous age of 89 in 2024, and has been suffering from a life-threatening brain condition, hydrocephalus ("water on the brain"), since 2012, which has caused him extensive memory loss, disorientation, unsteadiness and lack of coordination.
