    Ideas And Possibilities For 2009

Now that Lydia has finally gone, for all of you who like a good dose of sex, drugs and cantopop, I'll refer you to the story below http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2008/feb/12/china.internet rumour here is that Gillian Chung has already tried to top herself ( although in a silly and naive kind of way) and that there is a contract out to "chop" Edison. None of teh players would usually be Obit worthy outside of East Asia, but withthis scandal, you never know

    Ideas and possibilities for 2008

Jiang Zemin former long serving leader of China. No information on his health (there wouldn't be) but he's now 81 ,is very rarley seen in public and has gave up the last of his offical titles. Probably a long shot though. Jiang Zemin is fine. He appeared at the NPC congress last month and looked fit and healthy for an 81 yo. Won't be going in teh next year unless there is a dodgy ticker, which in an 81 yo, you never know. I wonder.....

    Ideas and possibilities for 2008

Hk Actress / entertainer / personality Lydia Shum has been rushed to hospital. Rumoured here to be suffering stage 4 liver cancer since last year. Probably just famous enough to squeak a UK obit. http://www.thestandard.com.hk/news_detail....;d_str=20071012

    The Dead - 2007

Can't see this one on the forum anywhere, but Norman Von Nida has died Guardian obit here http://sport.guardian.co.uk/golf/story/0,,2084966,00.html Not a household name, but reasonably famous in the golfing world, mainly due to his coaching clinics for top players. (Briefly mentioned in the obit)

    Ideas and possibilities for 2008

Bo Diddley reported to have had a stroke http://www.smh.com.au/news/music/bo-diddle...8995282912.html Article's tone appears to indicate that it's probably not life threatening, however for a 78 yo, I'll take the position that there is no such thing as a good stroke. (although I guess that would apply to any age)

    The Dead - 2007

Being announced that Alan Ball has received the final red card It's a rather apt name for his profession. Guess we could say he's kicked it now http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/0,,70131-1262501,00.html
