    The Dead Of 2009

Probably won’t receive any mainstream media coverage, but one for the Ufology buffs; UFO contactee Howard Menger dead age 87. http://www.ufomystic.com/wake-up-down-ther...-menger-passes/ Quote: "Later that year, an attractive young woman named Connie Weber appeared at one of Menger’s gatherings. He thought that she was the reincarnation of a blond spacewoman that he had known (in the biblical sense) in a previous life on Venus. He soon left his first wife and family to begin a new life of lectures and touring on the Contactee circuit"

    Robert Anton Wilson

I searched and couldn't find mention of Robert Anton Wilson, counter culture godfather and friend of Tim Leary. Could be an 'early doors' bidder for 2007. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Anton_Wilson Quote: "On June 22, 2006, Huffington Post blogger Paul Krassner reported that Robert A. Wilson is currently under hospice care at home with friends and family. [1] On 2 October 2006 Douglas Rushkoff reported that Wilson was in severe financial trouble.[2] As of 3 October the front page of rawilson.com contains an appeal for funds. Slashdot, Boing Boing, and the Church of the Subgenius also picked up on the story, linking to Rushkoff's appeal. [3] [4] These efforts succeeded beyond expectation and raised over USD 80,000 which will support him for at least 6 months.[citation needed]"

    Robert Anton Wilson

I've read most of his books. Cosmic Trigger, Quantum Psychology & The Thing That Ate the Constitution are, I think, good books even for those not interested in ‘Counter Culture’. There was a film 'Maybe Logic' about his work out in 2003 that is worth watching.

    Robert Anton Wilson

Not long now for Robert Anton Wilson according to his own blog - http://robertantonwilson.blogspot.com/2007...good-night.html Words that all 'drive by ranters' spitting self-righteous venom from the realms Daily Mail land would do well to remember. Hopefully he'll hold out until the 23rd http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_23_enigma For those that don't know the 23 enigma

Would Licio Gelli be (in)famous enough to be covered in the UK media? Linked to the death of Roberto Calvi (found hanging from Blackfrairs Bridge in London, 1982) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Licio_Gelli Well in his eighties and a lifetime of being involved with the Mafia, Ultra secret masonic lodges, the CIA to name but a few may have caught up with him.

    Farrah Fawcett

Slighty off topic... I was checking wikipedia for news of Lee Majors (FF's ex-hubby of course) to see if his health is on the slide. Anyway, it's good to see that Lee was a hardcore supporter of womens rights Quote: "Majors has been married four times, but his most famous marriage was to actress Farrah Fawcett, another 1970s pop icon. In 1976 Majors and Fawcett made TV history by being a husband and wife who sumultaneously starred in separate top-rated shows (The Six Million Dollar Man (Majors) and Charlie's Angels (Fawcett)). They were married from July 28, 1973 to February 16, 1982, but they separated in 1979. They broke up because Majors wanted his spouse to be home with him in the evenings when she often needed to work on her show. The producers of her show made some concessions—for example she was allowed to leave the set to prepare dinner for Majors every evening—but eventually the demands of both their careers proved too onerous and they parted ways" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Majors Did Farah appear on the set the next morning saying that the bruising is due to a fall on the stairs and she will get Lee's chicken fried quicker next time

All for show I'm afraid, he'll never get anywhere near her Alan Whicker's! Very true. But he should insist on his marital rights
  16. Around 1990/91 I was working for a London Hotel, Jeffery Holland stayed and on checking out tried to avoid paying for his mini bar bill. When I insisted he pay for his thirsty habit he pulled out the 'Don't you know who I am?' routine. The drunk that can't afford to pay for his mini bar bill was my reply. I was sacked for being rude to a guest, but it was worth it. I'll take that sort of thing from the likes of Madonna but Jeffery F*****g Holland

True, but I've got to hand it to her; she is very successful at being a gold digging, attention-seeking liar (in a world full of) My mother conditioned me to be unassuming and truthful – Now I would need NASA to calculate the shortfall between my bank account and Heather’s

Couldn't find anything about fatal illness and Dave, but on wikipedia I found the the following: - Quote: "Members of Showaddywaddy still campaign tirelessly for the welfare of orphan children in the town of Hastings, in Kent" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Showaddywaddy I never knew that Hastings had such a serious orphan problem I would suggest that SWW's place in Heaven is assured for this sterling work, after all they were only three steps away from it back in the '70's Madonna could have adopted a kid from Hastings instead of Malawi. I'm sure Madonna would have insisted on a receipt for the Malawi kid. When she gets bored she can take the child back and head for Hastings...
