And Windsor racked his brains and wrote with all his might, finally producing a poem which was indeed truly shite. And filled the peoples hearts with delight, who promptly resolved their own crap poems to write. And the people began with all their might, faecal poems to write and ones which were shite, apart from Banshees Scream who thankfully remained nowhere to be seen. but none could equal Windsor's entreaty his shite to bite. ALL HAIL TO WINDSOR! Let the people say! For he is surely the shitest poet of the modern day. And champion of ministers and bishops that are gay, filling the Boys' Brigade officers' hearts with dismay.

Sadly true. Particularly since Windsor's last poem, (wishing, if memory serves, death on some poor soul doubtless undeserving of same), was actually quite good. I was disappointed to see this not becoming a trend in his work. I wonder if I should try writing a crap poem myself? The last poem I wrote was certainly not well received, but no amount of humility can convince me that that is not more a refelection on dedsox's taste than on the quality of the piece itsself. What are the prerequisites for a crap poem? Does it have to be cloyingly sentimental or are boringness and bad technique enough? Perhaps it's time we laid down some rules?

Well I have just taken on some work on the 13th. Had to be done given the state of my bank balance, but don't let that stop it being that day if it's the best date.

Both dates are fine with me. It'd be sad not to meet Six and Time, but on the other hand, it wouldn't be a DLCon without Mary. So I'll leave the decision up to someone else if you don't mind.

Fort William is fine with me, even better if we could have DLCon this coming Friday as I'll be in the area anyway. In the meantime here's the Facebook Fan Site for those interested in that sort of thing. They have 9 fans at the moment, including me. It'd be nice to double that.

I was actually thinking of not coming for financial reasons, but the 13th of November has some reasonable flights if someone can put me up again like last time. Not seen Alph for a bit, is he still about? Seeing as Time is working that evening, we might consider changing the location to a Carefully Selected Public House in the Brighton Area. That could also raise the probability of getting Rankin along as a Guest Speaker. Then we could all go sea-bathing later on or something.

Hmm, if I'd known Footie was in with a chance of winning the league, I'd have given him a harder time of it. As it was I just wanted to give the lads a bit of a kick about and make sure nobody got hurt too badly. How about having two games a week next season? Might give the whole thing a bit more excitement and pace.
