    - Heard of No More is Mr Richard Heard MD of Birmingham International Airport.... It's on the Beeb, so its got to count for something. I personally have never Heard of him (OK I'll shut up now, you'll hear (oops) no more puns from me) http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/6273773.stm

    Famous With HIV

Sorry to ressurect a dead and buried thread but... Just looked at the link posted in this thread to the wiki list of celebs living (and dying) with AIDS. Did anyone notice the Dallas connection? Three cast members made the list one of whom starred in Knots Landing too, at which point I should mention that another Knot's Landing actor makes the list. Assumption is the mother of all f*ck ups but this caught my attention.

    Michael Jackson

Wow I didn't even realise he had made a comeback - I guess it must have been publisized (er spelling?) in the Basilidon Advertiser as I do have a gap in my collection around that time. Damn paper boy.

    Kylie Die-ly ? Minogue Morgue-Go ?

A poorly Kylie - we should be so lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky. Better the devil you know eh? Give me just a little more time...(I hear you all groan) It may be just a Fever and she could be Burning Up but here are a few influenza/pneumonia stats I've pulled up... http://www.unitedjustice.com/death-statistics.html (US based) http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/f/flu/deaths.htm (Scroll down for Oz facts What we need to determine now is whether she has the flu or a cold, remembering indeed her weakened immune system...
  6. Does this making no noise malarkey only apply to giving birth or could it extend to say singing? I think you are begining to understand my distain for her thankfully short lived solo career.
  7. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/europe/6248835.stm Methinks posh is behind this move, fed up of sunbathing and sangria, with nothing to do perhaps she is hoping to ressurect her own career at the same time, ligging her way to stardom. God forbid! [beckham topics merged. Also nice opportunity to resurrect this topic -- MH]

    Not Exactly Famous...

Thank-you - someone can understand my French. There is hope for me yet over here in the land of frogs. Though some might say I should concentrate on English first. Then they would also be from the "old school" of thought and should long have retired as I myself left school almost 15 years ago! Language evolves, teachers somehow don't. Wow I really have earnt the pointless ranter title like our friend who thinks we are sick. I wonder what she'd think of my parents who find the best bit of televised awards is the "sadly missed" bit at the end? In fact it was my mum who forwarded this site - I hate to think what she'd been googling. Damn - it's changed to morbid interest.

So why have you taken the trouble to register? Oh and may I add this Charming Man to the not so famous list http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/6201292.stm

    Alexander Litvinenko

Surely one must ask oneself how long has he been a UK citizen. I wouldn't like to speculate - in case I get hunted down - but the trouble is probably a significant proportion of the Russian population has been exposed to some form of radiation. Think Chernobyl, secret submarines, cosmonauts, nuclear weapons programmes...and then that's probably little in comparison to all the cover ups in the Soviet-block... it is probably just background radiation to the Ruskies - trouble is he's softened up since going to the UK! http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlere...i?artid=1469939 Does anybody know the Russian for Occupational Health?
