Really little time for research, but I have faith in finishing top 15 for fifth year in a row.

As I see, Lundgren, Darby, Dario G, Pope Francis and Bruce Willis are not too popular names by top dogs, so my success mainly depends on them going.

    Awesome country, you're very lucky!

Unfortunately I only had 2 nights in Estonia but I managed to get to Pärnu, Tallinn, Tartu and Valga. It snowed constantly, apart from when this picture was taken (and yeah, I took it myself because I had no mates, the shame). This was great because snow is great. I want to revisit Tallinn and Tartu, with more time and company.

I knew nothing about the Baltics before going but wanted to fully immerse myself. At one point I made Texan friends but patched them because they only wanted to eat Tex-Mex food. Now feel like I can call myself cultured, classy, and just better than everyone else. B)

You should visit my hometown and the summer capital Pärnu in summer. Then the place is really amazing. Tallinn is good to visit any time of year. Also I suggest to go to Saaremaa in summer.

  3. One month to go. Anyone wants to check the odds of who still might win? Who is likely to die and who to survive?

    Labvakar from Rīga!

What the hell am I doing in Latvia? Fantastic question. I still don't have a job LOL. Externally I might seem a little insane, but I've never felt better mentally. Tomorrow night I'll be in Estonia (shout-out to @Eesti). I'm all alone with a tiny backpack, a Monzo card, and a dodgy goatee. Lots of mischief ahead, no doubt.

So did you get to Estonia? How was the trip?

Sorry, not yet. If it ever comes.

Congratulations for your (very possible) podium place!

Thanks! Hell of a year, considered I made very little research last year. And congratz to Spade for the most impressive win of all time.

For my next year team, I still haven't done any research yet. Similar to last year. Just few hours on the 31st of December.

Been out today. Through tears, Olivia Newton-John is my first hit on my main theme team. Not who I thought would go first. :o

10/20 dead from my list now. Back to second place and gap with leader is melting. Need to have 3-4 people from my list to be unlucky and die this year to win. One per month would do.

I got 2 ALS terminally ill guys (Barkan, Burrow) who look like death for some time now and could go any time. 2 old guys with cancer (Field, Pele). And some people full of cancer (Alagiah, Turnbull, Robertson, West, Doherty, Nolan).

Maybe one of the ALS ill guys (Burrow), one old-timer (Field) and for example West/Robertson, Alagiah/Turnbull and Doherty could secure this for me.

I feel like Nolan has tricked me again and will survive this year.

Also made a huge mistake not picking Bennett and Steiner who I somehow missed.

  9. Rising to second position. 13 points behind David Quantick's Showbiz Pals.

He has 8 different names left: Deborah James, Vicky Phelan, Julia Reichert, Bill Steel, Susie Steiner, Dick Vitale, Tom Weiskopf and Alyson Williams.

I have 9 different names left: George Alagiah, Ady Barkan, Rob Burrow, Shannen Doherty, Olivia Newton-John, Linda Nolan, Gavin Robertson, Jean-Louis Trintignant and Bill Turnbull.

Same names: Frank Field, Pele, George Perez and Don West.

I am feeling strong with my lineup.

Numerous news sources online (eg this one) reporting that Karl Vaino has died aged 98.

They state that his death date is unknown. All they know is he died earlier in 2022 and was already buried by 16 February.

    Great riddance. Rot in hell.
