Deathlist Dreaming
Handrejka replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I had a really odd dream a couple of nights' ago. I dreamt that the remaining cast of Babylon 5 were all living together in a sort of Celebrity Big Brother special. This initially included Mira Furlan, but she remembered she was dead and soon disappeared, however Jerry Doyle didn't realise he was dead and was wandering around as a ghost. -

Michael Culver is a hit for me here.

With news that a third series of Twin Peaks is in the pipeline, I thought I'd start a thread for all things Lynch related, but especially those might be possible dead pool picks. Twin Peaks Warren Frost is 90 next year so may be worth a look, Piper Laurie and Russ Tamblyn are also getting up there in years, Michael. J. Anderson had some sort of breakdown last year and I don't think Lara Flynn Boyle is human any more. From Lost Highway Robert Loggia and Robert Blake have been mentioned elsewhere as possibilities. Any more we can think of?

I keep thinking about Norman Shilcock, who was my old RE teacher, and wonder if he merits a thread?

Reminds me of this.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?
Handrejka replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I have seen the film, but many years ago. It's not bad and answers some questions but it doesn't feel very Twin Peaksy either. -

I must confess that I never got round to watching series 3. I am pleased you have enjoyed series 1 and 2 -
Novelist and poet Alan Brownjohn has died aged 92. I only realised he was still with us about a month ago. Alan Brownjohn obituary | Poetry | The Guardian

That's a shame. I was watching The Consultant recently and she was very good in that.

I meant to start this last year after Bacall's death and the 40th anniversary of the film. There aren't many of the cast still with us, thought I'd start a thread to see what is what as I think we'll lose at least one more before the end of 2016. Sean Connery - born 1930 has had throat cancer in the past and is rumoured to have dementia of some sort Albert Finney - born 1936 , kidney cancer Michael York - born 1942 amyloidosis Vanessa Redgrave - born 1937, not aware of any health issues. Jacqueline Bisset - born 1944, not aware of any health issues I think that's all the main ones who are still with us I knew there was someone else, Vernon Dobtcheff born 1934, still working

He was on my Pointless Theme last year, but I have retired that for now so he will probably go this year.

I knew I had him somewhere. I had forgotten about this particular pool. Toast, I notice you haven't crossed off David Crosby.

I think Andrew could end up winning for similar reasons. -

Same here. The 'attending your own funeral' episode was especially good. -
That's me. Sorry. Also sorry to @time as we always seem to scupper each other's uniques, this time with George Innes.

Well done everyone, looking good. Now this is absolutely my own mistake so if you want to let it stand, but the Fiona Castle I meant was this one (Roy Castle's widow) Fiona Castle - Wikipedia
