    Star Wars Deaths

What actors / actresses from the original "Star Wars" have passed away besides Alec Guinness? I could look this up on www.imdb.com but that wouldn't be any fun. Marc Hamill was looking old last time I saw him on TV.

    World War I Veteran(s)

Being respectful, does anyone know if there is any way to know how many World War I veterans are still living? I haven't found a website which addresses this. Most vets from the "Big War" would be around 100 at this time. The last one around my area passed away like 8 years ago at age 97.

    Psycho Survivors

Watching the classic "Psycho" from 1960 (50th anniversary of it this year). Just wondering how many of the lead actors are still living. Here is what I came up with: Vera Miles - played Lila Crane (Marion's sister) still living age 79 John Gavin - played Sam Loomis (Marion's boyfriend) still living age 78 (I think). Once these two are gone, that will be the end of 'em.

    World War I Veteran(s)

In order for Frank Buckles to lie in state in the nation's capitol it must be approved in Congress. This sucks out loud!!!!! Obama should step up and order this to be done, not only for the sake of Mr. Buckles but also in respect for the other Americans who gave their lives - or time - in service during the Great War! There will be no other WWI veterans left to honor in this way.

    Edward Kennedy/Curse of the Kennedys

If I were him (which of course I am not) I would just retire and enjoy the last months or years of my life on the beach or fishing or just goofing around. Not in that dreaded Capitol Building with the rest of the blowhards.

    World War I Veteran(s)

LONDON -- Guinness World Records said that 113-year-old British World War I veteran Henry Allingham has become the world's oldest man. The previous holder of the title, Tomoji Tanabe, died in his sleep in southern Japan at the age of 113. Allingham is one of only two surviving World War I veterans in Britain and celebrated his 113th birthday June 6. He has been Britain's oldest man since January 2007. Craig Glenday, editor-in-chief of Guinness World Records, said the last Englishman to hold the title of world's oldest man was Frederick Butterfield, who died in March 1974 at the age of 110. Allingham joined the Royal Naval Air Service - precursor to the Royal Air Force - in 1915, and a year later took part in the Battle of Jutland, the war's largest naval battle. During World War II he worked on measures to counter magnetic mines. Well...........CONGRATULATIONS HENRY! WELL DONE!
