I just always think of Chanel 9 on The Fast Show.
-
I believe she also did a cameo in an episode of a Sky sitcom called (I think) After Dark or something like that. I don't have Sky, so wasn't able to study the form. Perhaps a Sky subscriber could locate it and report back?

As far as I can see, this Jennifer Glass is not notable for anything unconnected with her illness. Joey Feek otoh is a Grammy-nominated popular entertainer.

Congratulations to the Captain Why thank you, kind sir Don't worry, he has been granted eternal life since I have picked him

Is that Comical Ali? I did consider him: he was supposed to be seriously ill in hospital, but there were some rumours that it wasn't really him.
-
That's to be expected, surely.
-
Congratulations to Spade and Red Flagged Yes, I've just noticed that the 'Dead Of 2015' thread has been locked. A bit premature, surely? There are bound to be reports of more December deaths drifting in.

Carrington for me.

I do quite like to spread the interest, so normally I try not to repeat names (although there are exceptions). What I would like to to do though is submit the same team to both Deathrace and The Hare's. It would be interesting to see which performs better. Unfortunately the Hare demands 25 names while Deathrace matches the DDP with 20. You could submit your first 20 names the same as Deathrace. Also gcreptile that's fine. I think I've done something like that, but the point is they aren't the same team. Also, having a team of 20 means that people can use their DDP team if they wish.

You don't have to post them at all. I never have. Not the DDP teams anyway. You can link to them in your sig once the DDP site's up and running.

Regional bbc pages (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland) will no longer count as legit UK obits, so the above examples would not qualify, although the latter almost certainly got a legit obit elsewhere. UK overall however would, such as this: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-33082773 Ouch! I thought you were just omitting the really local pages, the ones subdivided into counties. This seems draconian, considering you are still accepting the Daily Mail with all its obscure nobodies.

Perhaps he got the news a couple of months back and kept it to himself? Though you'd think he'd have to say something due to touring commitments. He does look like he's rapidly wasting away in that Bataclan comment clip. There's the insurance angle as well.

Andrew Smith must be a common name. Which one is it, out of interest? Presumably Creep refers to a cancer-stricken college basketball player - not famous because he has cancer, mind, as his career started before the diagnosis. However it's still worth noting that if he dies and gets a qualifying obit, it will only work against you by mere virtue of his profession! http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2315&page=25#entry180710 You'd still gain points, but because he's a basketball player and the rules of this game strike points for that, that'll reduce his value. Doh! I was waiting to see if he'd notice: I did drop a hint

Seems clear enough to me. You can pick anyone you want, but certain types of pick are discouraged. Note that some incur minus points. Young people usually means children, or at least minors. Not people in their late 20s.

He looks very ill and weak in the clip where he talks about the Bataclan. If I'd seen that before ..... Put it this way, it's hard to believe he had gigs booked in less than a month. That article was from July, even though he had some bouts of illness he probably just assumed that he'd recover in time for the January gigs. I know the tour was announced in the summer, I mentioned it to a friend who is also a Saxon fan when it was first advertised. As far as I know the tour was still on. I had an email only today listing upcoming gigs in my area, and it was still there. I think Maryport said he had a ticket.

He was in The Specials every time I saw them. IMBW but Special AKA was what Jerry Dammers called the band after the Fun Boy Three left. So Brad was in both.

Who Should Be On The 2016 Deathlist?
Toast replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
Don't you realise there are people grieving here? -
Deathray is a infinitely better name though.
