I don't see it confirmed as suicide in that report. Found at the bottom of a ravine, it says. Just as likely to be an accident. ETA - BBC obit

No, I followed the trial quite closely and there is a heavy stench of corruption. It was rumoured early on that money and power would decide the outcome. Take a look at this, it was revealing.

While we're on the subject, it's worth hearing what the disabled folk of South Africa really think of Oscar Pisspoorstorius. This deserves wide circulation. It's by Ari Seirlis, who is the CEO of the QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA). Stand up and show us the man that you said you were.
-
Then again, if he stays out do we want to get excited about the life expectancy of his current girlfriend? There were some pretty unpleasant types in court today giving him the evil eye, including a guy who's already killed somebody and got away with it (bit like Oscar, did I hear you say?). So prison might actually be a safer place for him. btw Oscar is the only killer in this photo: this fellow is the chap whose legs Oscar threatened to break a while back.

Indeed, it'll be amazing if he sees 88. Jamie Blandford was a regular on my first DDP teams (and a unique pick on the first two, which was a surprise). I dropped him when he seemed to be cleaning up his act.

I'm disappointed. I thought that was going to be a witty acronym.

Why have a bucket list........? Now he is gay, looks like shit.... Justasayin. It's just a figure of speech. It means "things you would like to do before you die, whenever that may be" Also he didn't actually say he has a bucket list.

In a word - no. This explanation of the human equivalent may help. There's even a little video to demonstrate. Aaw, cheers for answering. And not laughing at me (in the post, at least) I was just at what you must have thought people put on their cornflakes.
-
I must admit the thought crossed my mind that - well, best not go there

No. In fact I would be happy to see the Star Trek stuff in here too. (not a fan)

She ain't going to obit though. The Daily Mail would probably update that article, should she turn up dead.
-
Why would you think that? It's a feature in a national print newspaper. There are far more ephemeral fleeting mentions that are considered valid.
-
Actually it's in under "Other Lives" which means one of his mates wrote and submitted the obit, much as happens with our local paper. I really wish I'd thought of doing that when my DDP joker failed to obit a couple of years back.
-
I am sorry to hear that. It is always sad to lose a loyal friend. I'm genuinely saddened for your loss. When my dog Butch died, I cried my heart out. Sadly, I can't say the same about my parents. Me too. I lost my lovely dog last year, it's so crap that their lives are so short.

Yes, but back in those days they wanted to win. Nowadays it seems all efforts are concentrated on making sure we don't win, so that they don't have the expense of hosting the next one.

It'd do no favours for your bike or bollocks either (apologies ladies, the last one only relates to some of your fellow posters). Isn't there only one (or possibly two, I can never work out Toast's genre) women on this forum anyway? It'd probably not be good for the vaginal/backsidal area though, I'd presume? Well, it's not Pornogrind.

No. It was because he seemed to have been an old man forever, therefore he must be immortal. When he first appeared as Cpl Jones in Dads Army, he was only in his forties, but played a much older character.

The mind boggles as to whether or not they leave it in the boot while traveling or have it strapped in one of the passenger seats as they're driving along. Your answer is to be found in the report: They are from Norfolk.
-
I thought I remembered that, but there's no mention of him in the BBC report, although various other blokes are namechecked. I think you're confusing her with Stephanie de Sykes. I stand corrected. Although Lynsey did write for Stephanie. Ah, that'll be it then. Thanks.

The boy stood on the burning deck, Eating some cream crackers, A flame shot up his trouser leg, and burnt off both his knackers.

I take the point, but I personally don't see all "minors" as children. Children to me are little kids, not teenagers.

Yes, didn't Wilko say that he wasn't going to have any treatment, or something along those lines? Then he goes on an apparently never-ending tour, puts out an album, and ...... I mean, good luck to the bloke and all that, but you can't blame people if they feel a bit misled.
