Dave Myers for my new no. 3 sub, please.

It's contentious because there were so many good songs in this round. I am personally happy with the four that remain, although there are a couple I would have preferred to ADAAOTN.

They can tell the children now.

I'll do some. Throw me a letter when you're ready.

Sad, but a good long life and nicely timed not to interfere with Bruce's upcoming tour. Back in 2013 I had the pleasure of seeing Bruce ignore all the girlies perched on their boyfriends' shoulders hoping to be pulled on stage to dance with him. Instead he disappeared into the wings and came back with his Mom on his arm and they danced together. One of the highlights of the show for me. Rest well, Adele, and thank you for buying your son that guitar.

New single from the Pet Shop Boys, with a very gay video. Gotta feel sad for the girlfriends. -

Hmmm. I've just found a bit of that scene on Youtube and it sounds much clearer. Must be a fault with my copy. If only there were subtitles ! Usually lacking on Lynch films for some reason.
-
And slur. Yeah, this wasn't the usual poor diction, mumbling and swallowing words, it actually sounded distorted and uneven. I'll pick up where I left off and go on with it, but if I can't hear what people are saying, that'll be me out. Which will be a pity.
-
I've acquired it on DVD. I was pleased to see that there was an option for subtitles, because I often have trouble making out dialogue, either because of accents or poor diction (why do actors whisper so much?) Anyway I settled down with the subtitles option enabled, and at first there were some subtitles - although I couldn't hear any dialogue! But then, no more subtitles even though there was audible dialogue. I gather that the subtitles only function when people are not speaking English. I haven't got very much further because the dialogue seems to be muffled and distorted. The scene where Grace Zabriskie visits Laura Dern - I could barely make out a word that was said. Is it just me? If it's like that all the way through I will just have to give up on it.

Nobody's died afaik, but this might be a better place to ask than the films thread. Has anyone here seen Inland Empire?

Prostate, not prostrate. Still. at least you didn't put "prostitute operation" which appeared somewhere.

FTFY. Her name hasn't been "Kate Middleton" for over 12 years.
