Except he's not walking.

Interesting that you describe him as an 'actor'. I was just thinking that all these people are usually described as 'stars', as in the linked article. They can't all be stars, surely? Mind you, I suppose the same goes for soap actors and reality nobodies in the tabloids.

He was only 24 stone at his heaviest . Poor effort.

FTFY.

No, I couldn't really being as they were customers. It was a courtesy call to remind them that his subscription was due for renewal. Don't think she knew what the word 'courtesy' means.

My thoughts exactly. I was wondering who wrote it for her.

I had to phone her once for work reasons, and she was rude then.

McCririck is one of three survivors from my very first DDP team. I picked him for the opposite reason - fat, red and unhealthy, he looked then like the sort who could suddenly drop dead at any minute. Meat Loaf is one of the others, same reason.

I wonder if She is the one In that other poem Who says "When I am an old woman I shall wear purple".

Is it a selfie?

'Knob twiddlers' is how I have long referred to those DJ types who have hit singles, usually with some random female doing the singing.

Toast replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
IT'S GONE! They weren't supposed to collect it until this afternoon, but as I was getting up I heard a lot of beeping and clanking, cautiously peered out of the window and yes! So no pleading or bribery required Result! -

Skip update. Oh shit. I have had a very successful week emptying the condemned shed (it was like the Tardis - every time I moved something out there were six more things stashed behind it). I packed the skip very very carefully to maximise use of space. However it soon became apparent that there was no way the shed itself (which is very large) would fit in once dismantled. We would have to burn it. OR SO I THOUGHT. Today the Village Site Foreman - I cannot describe him here but he is a local character and somewhat of a mixed blessing - turned up and demolished the thing single-handed and put the whole lot on the skip. It's way over the top! Skip is due to be collected tomorrow and I am not convinced they will take it. -
Yep, new album and tour. I noticed because he is playing St Mary's Stadium Southampton. Having seen the Stones there earlier this year, I said it was a nice venue and very well organised and they should put on more gigs.

Looks more like Throwing A Guitar Down A Staircase.

I know one thing for sure - it won't be anybody I've ever heard of.

^ Two posts not naming the deceased. Please remember to give the name or it will not show up in a search.

Oh! I didn't know which one you meant, so went to look , and the quiz had entirely different questions from the one I did. And still no shirt front .....

I got 9. I didn't understand the aeroplane one.

The RTL link posted by Supiot says that he died in his sleep. Selon nos informations, Charles Aznavour, dernier des géants de la chanson française, est mort dans son sommeil à son domicile dans les Alpilles, dans le sud de la France.

Hmmm, let's try Pierre Cardin for a French double.

That's very sad news, but marvellous that he went out still active and performing at such a grand age.

I quite like him, he sounds so old-fashioned. Wouldn't want to listen to a whole album though. -
I suppose I should make the effort to watch 'Xanadu' sometime, since it starred and seems to have destroyed the career of Michael Beck, who played Swan in my favourite film 'The Warriors'.
