Well... I've done it. Hopefully we should have a new DDP website and process for 2019. I even hired an American to do it. Thanks, Spade! I don't understand what any of that meant, but thanks anyway. Where do we pay?

But last year (or any other year) has no bearing on the results for this year. It is down to the names selected, nothing else.

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
Toast replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Just the birds singing in the garden. And the occasional frenzied bark as Toastdog chases a pigeon. -
What's an EDM? Do you blow it, hit it or pluck it ?

That, or choking on his chewing gum.

<goes to fridge> Spain That's all right then. -
"If he does attend, it is likely that he will be forced to do so with crutches or a walking stick." If that doesn't work, they might have to try an electric cattle prod.

Is it in extracurricular? OK. Yeah, I'd forgotten the more recent "Close To The End". I thought at the time that it would have been better to leave the title as its original inspiration.

To be fair, some of the music threads have titles that may not be instantly obvious. "Dead Pop Stars" and "Dead Drummers" speak for themselves, but Stairway To Heaven/Highway to Hell is for hard rock and heavy metal musicians. Didn't Wake Up This Morning for blues musicians. Old Folkies Home for folk. Country for Old Men (and Women) is for country (C&W) singers. Jamaican Jamming for reggae and ska. The Next Piper At The Gates of Heaven - psychedelia Great Gigs In the Sky - prog rock There are probably more - oh, there's Death By Jazz ..... Plus lots of musicians have their own dedicated threads.

Aw, it's a really nice message from the family though. https://www.georgemichael.com/ -
There are long-running threads on Digital Spy about good and bad buys at Aldi and Lidl respectively. There seems to be a bit of a theme with Aldi that a given product changes radically, or the quality deteriorates.

I had a similar experience when buying a petrol cap for my lawnmower. The cap arrived, and although it was exactly as shown, right size, it did not fit because the thread was not the same. I contacted the seller* and never heard another word. Even though I returned the item. Nada. Complained to Ebay, and they refunded me without any drama. *lawnmowersparesukltd https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/lawnmowersparesukltd I had much better luck with garden-hire-spares who were most cooperative. https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/garden-hire-spares -
That one on the right translates as "Newcastle Pope". I've always found that amusing.

Newsbeat. See, there's another anomaly with the DDP accepting the BBC's teenagers section as QO, but not grown-up news from Scotland, Wales etc. Anyway, this TotalBiscuit bloke. I assume his illness involves his digestive system? He sounds like quite a tough cookie.

A pin-up calendar of her? What a godsend for bulimiacs.

A senior royal source has told how Prince Philip has taken to referring to Meghan as "the Dow". It stands for Duchess of Windsor, the former Wallis Simpson, whose affair with Edward VIII nearly destroyed the Royal Family. https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/952400/lady-Gabriella-ex-boyfriend-kensington-palace-aatish-taseer
