My perception is that there are just far too many of these restaurant chains. Some towns seem overloaded with restaurants.

At least he outlived his dad's dog.

She'll be watching the Paralympics. Not sure why she's being discussed in this thread though.

This needs to go in the Language Barrier topic.

No one has raged here about Americans saying they "could care less" when they mean the opposite. So I will.

So .. What Do You Watch On TV?

I am enjoying 'American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace'. Although it feels wrong to enjoy because it's true, and real people were murdered. However I am loving the sheer campness of everything, the gay clubs, the music ... . And the guy who plays the serial killer is absolutely mesmerising. Penelope Cruz is a bit shit as Donatella though - thick non-Italian accent, can hardly understand a word she says. -
I knew the old boy mentioned in this article. He died when he was 103.

Richers never mentioned it as a selling point, so possibly they agree with you.

I just bought a new TV from Richer Sounds. They are a properly independent company and customer service is paramount. They do some good deals with 6 year warranty included, and (bearing in mind the value of the warranty) will refund the difference if you can buy cheaper elsewhere. You can't really go wrong with them. https://www.richersounds.com/stores/plymouth This is the one I got ....... It was one of the 5 top rated by Which? for that size telly.

No, it's because they started out as a church youth football team called Southampton St Mary's. St Mary's is the main church in Southampton hence the district also called St Mary's, which is where the new(ish) stadium is. The old stadium was of course The Dell. When I lived in Southampton, St Mary's was a very run-down area, home to the red light area where the girls used to sit in windows, Amsterdam-style.

Really interesting, thanks for posting that.

I'd forgotten about Zena Skinner, haven't heard of her in years and would have assumed she was long dead.

Now there's an id No, of course not.

Just part of one of Deathray's occasional rant-a-thons.
