OK, I never saw her on TV and never really heard anything about her outside her illness.
-
Did she actually write anything, apart from blogs? I did have her in my DDP team a few years back, but came round to thinking she was more of a FFBI.
-
Same again for me, whoever they are

Your opinion is probably coloured by the fact that you wouldn't really have a clue who she is.

Well .... the first will eventually go up, but not as fast as the second will go up, and as for the third I couldn't possibly comment. -

I thnk @Toast would be most insulted to be mistaken for a politician. Definitely. They're all a bunch of self-serving cunts. -
A "horror" fall, even.

As for calling his tour/book "Not Dead Yet", I was reminded of David Gest calling his tour "David Gest Is Not Dead". Shouldn't goad the Reaper like that.
-
Yes, I noticed that too. I wasn't sure if Evonne had gone back to her maiden name for any reason, but it seems not.

I'm disappointed to learn that it wasn't called the Margaret Court Court.

Been To Any Good Gigs Lately?

Not without applying his hand sanitiser. -
In that case I'll let DI have the pick.
-
I don't really want to pick either, especially as this is far from being a two-horse race.
-
Do you mean we have to pick Anderson or Bush?
-
I always get him confused with Tony Iommi.
-
-
I'm out, too. I would have played had it been handled differently, with a lead-in to the start and teams not revealed until the start date.
-
You wouldn't need the "protected names" though, not if everyone's teams are kept confidential until the game starts. All you have to do is sub in for any picks who die. Hardly arduous. There's unlikely to be that many, so you'd just ask the player if and when it's necessary.
-
There's a perfectly simple solution. You invite people to send in their teams by PM, and they don't get revealed until the start date. That's how the DDP and numerous other pools work.
-
What's wrong with starting on 30 June and having entries PM'd to you? Give people a chance to consider and assemble a team without influence. I hate these pools that "start now and here's my team before the rest of you have had a chance". And you can fuck right off with your "protected" names.
