I just found out through some random surfing that Harry Dean Stanton who starred in Alien, Paris Texas and a lot of David Lynch films is turning 88 this year (i thought he would be atleast 10 years younger).... Just wondering if there is anything know about his health?

I was shocked to hear that. My Finnish girlfriend lived most of her live in Turku and her entire family still lives there (all of them are okay).

I did that a long time ago when i was still contemplating leaving this site (and might have had a bit to much to drink the evening when i removed my existance from this site). You are not missing a lot by not being able too read my old posts. Why are we dredging up old threads that have not been relevant for 7 years.

Maybe not the right place to post it but i was this week in Documenta in Kassel and they had a a retrospective on Lithuanian-American director Jonas Mekas. He is still alive and currently 95 years old and still alive and belongs to a generation of amateur filmmakers who in the 60s made artfilms (when 16MM cameras became publically available). I saw a film by Douglas Gordon where Mekas tells the story of how he was send to a workercamp in the second world war and how he was a man without a country after the war (because it was annexed by the soviets) and eventually ended up in the United States. There where also a lot of videos showing of him which where narrated homevideo travelogues where he went back to Lithuania and the places of his youth and where he was during the war. I have no idea how obitable he is but could easily imagine him getting a fullpage obituary in the artsection of the Guardian. I took his list and saved it in a document immediately after posting (like i do with all the entries) I wasn't considering disqualifying him but i was considering disqualifying the entries he severely miss spelled. Anyway how about a vote among the other people who entered. Should Morbid Kids entry be counted or not? majority decides.

I considered it but i thought the only problem with doing it like this is that your list is out in the open for anyone to see. So whatever unique and smart entries you put on there could be stolen from you by everyone else (so its more his problem then mine). The PMing keeps an element of surprise in the game.

Going through all the entries now... Are these people Leah Bracknell and Honor Blackman spelled incorrectly or are they some actual British celebrities i never heard of?
