Still alive as of 10 minutes ago. -
Thank you @Elpresidente and welcome to the forum! I've updated both the Sounds Incorporated and the J.A.L.N. Band entries for the death of Holmes, which occurred on Thursday according to this Facebook post from a friend. He survived a heart attack in 2013 so I suspect it may have been cardiac-related.

He didn't permanently disappear in 1956. His Wiki is somewhat misleading as it doesn't reveal that he subsequently re-emerged (there is some minor coverage of him up until the 1960s in the archives on Newspapers.com). He died in 1991 according to several family trees on Ancestry. No idea where he died... possibly abroad, but his widow, Elva Jessie Bump, died in New York in 2010.

@Gisooo, resize your images to anything from 100 x 100 to 300 x 300 (max). It's a total pain for users if they're using a desktop version of DeathList to have to bypass huge images.

Oscar Wyatt (wiki), 97, American businessman who was involved in the Oil-for-Food Program scandal in '07, looks absolutely f***ed in these pics from 8 days ago. Unpicked in the DDP this year. I imagine there's a good chance of him getting a QO.

Golden Age of Hollywood star and Oscar nominee Cara Williams (wiki) dead at 96. Also once married to actor John Drew Barrymore (1932–2004), and mother to John Barrymore III (who in turn is Drew Barrymore's half-brother). Mentioned on here in Ideas and Possibilities threads as far back as 2011, and played in several pools. Dying just in time to be featured in TCM Remembers 2021, but surprisingly not picked in the DDP (last time was in 2019!). That may prove to be a fatal blow in us breaking that record for # of hits.

NY Times obit for Giannini as confirmation.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

Hmmm... The Italian wiki page for Swiss-Italian actor Paul Müller (en wiki) was recently edited to say he died on 2 September 2016 (aged 93) in Tivoli. The source attached simply says "Registry office of the municipality of Tivoli". His last credit was in 2015. I'm inclined to believe it, though that's quite a "big" name to die off radar. -
Death notice for Peter Spoden (wiki), 100, German Luftwaffe night fighter during World War II. He only turned 100 last month. Coverage (with picture) here.

Is that your own research? Because there are others. Fair, some are only amateur but a few other pros: Joan Curry b. 1918, is still alive. As is Frank Okey, b. 1919, John Pearce b. 1923, Boebi van Meegeren b. 1924, Geoff Brown b. 1924, Barbara Scofield b. 1926 etc. etc.

And now Manuel Santana (wiki), has died aged 83.

According to this, another member of Angelic Upstarts, Tony Morrison (aka Tony Feedback) died on 22 February 2021 from COVID-19.
-
Thomas W. Horton (wiki) dead just short of 102.

Merci Mrs. T! Updated. Quite the avalanche of hitmakers as we near the end of the year.

Telegraph obit for Rainbow George Weiss (wiki), aged 81. A Hampstead hippie who was a serial candidate for fringe parties at by-elections in the UK. Also noted for making prank calls to LBC with his neighbour and drinking buddy, the late great Peter Cook. Pictured below with Howling Laud Hope of the Monster Raving Loony Party.

Telegraph obit for Iris Dawnay, 98, who was the chief lady-in-waiting to Princess Margaret. Before her time in the role, she was an MI6 secretary, known as Iris Peake. She very nearly married British-Soviet traitor George Blake (1922–2020), who was often discussed on here.

Updated. It's weird to think that in 2002 there were more living members of both The Monkees and The Bee Gees than there were of The Beatles. Time changes everything...
-
Updated for the death of Ralph Tavares. 2 days shy of his 80th birthday. Ouch.

That's not a bad plan! Who's her publisher though?

I didn’t think they sold it in the UK?

Why are you using 2 accounts?

Honestly starting to think you have a thing for him. You bump this thread every time there’s a non-health related story about him. ”Man becomes father” isn’t news. I’m so bloody bored of the media obsessing over him. Then I go on Twitter and hear it all again. Then I come on here and get it all a third time from you Willz!

Already reported by another user. Use the search function before you post. That’s what it’s there for.

A recent spike in 80s deaths is tempting me to cover that decade in the UKSC thread. I may start it mid-2022…

Both!
