She better hope he's okay. Without him she can't milk nearly as much publicity for herself.

    Dying Off The Radar

The first link appears to be a bot site. The problem with these bot sites is that they're now starting to look like genuine news sites, because 1) the AI tools are getting smarter, and they can compile articles that read like a human 2) so much of the clickbait news pieces written by humans actually sound bot-like themselves! Jane Morgan had #1 hits. She also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which she laid not all that long ago. She's not going to die off radar.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

Judith Hemmendinger (wiki) German-born Israeli researcher and author, supposedly died 24 March, aged 100. Specialised in child survivors of the Holocaust and awarded Frances Legion of Honour in 2003. A pick on one or two pools on here if I'm not mistaken.

    French Deathlist 2024

I would agree she doesn't belong on the list. Lives mainly in Geneva. She has another residence close to my aunt in London. The place in the French Alps sounds like a place where she goes on holiday. I have a time share in Tenerife. I'm not fucking Spanish.
  5. I'm at the stage now where I think we should just take Jimmy Carter out. We need someone who they'll never suspect though. What's Lady Cecilia Bartholemew up to these days? Edit: Prepping her nuclear bunker for an imminent apocalyptic war apparently:

    Passed-Punks & No-Wavers

I didn't even realise they had a brief period where the name changed. Any idea why?

    Passed-Punks & No-Wavers

Dennis Schiavon (aka Vince Santini) of The Rezillos dead of lung disease at 63.

    Renowned Mountaineers, Feeling Peaky?

A hero of mine. So much so that I’d like everyone on here to enjoy a picture I recently took of Lane’s amputed toes which he lost to frostbite on Everest (along with a thumb and a few fingers!)…

    Oldest Living football league players

Already added to the list above. I can’t add him or Simpson to the Wikipedia list as they don’t have pages of their own on there.

    The 100 Club

Times death notice for Stanley Clayton, aged 104. This means there is now nobody born in 1919 and still alive listed on Who's Who, with just Geering and Milner living from 1910s births.

    Oldest Living football league players

Thanks OoO. I've added them to the centenarian sportspeople list of Wiki here. Their previous exclusion was clearly just an oversight.

    Catherine Windsor AKA Kate Middleton

I was told last week by a journo that she had part of her oesophagus removed and I didn't know what to make of it. Looking like they were probably right. If that's where the cancer is she could be in real trouble. Edit: then again, would this explain "abdominal surgery"? Who knows? Not sure what to believe.

    Oldest Living football league players

Surprised nobody has made a Wiki page for him! That's how I missed him.
  14. First day of spring today brings winter officially to a close. Pretty awful 3 months. Never known it to be this dry. Thought it was getting better a few weeks ago and then an even worse dry spell. Bah!

    Oldest Living football league players

Happy 104th birthday to Graham Bailey! If I'm not wrong, I think he's now second oldest English League player ever after Arthur Smith? Arthur Smith BEM, 106, Bury, Leicester City Graham Bailey, 104 (still living), Huddersfield Town, Sheffield Utd. George Haigh, 103, Stockport County William Simpson, 102, Carlisle Utd. Wilf Nixon, 102, Fulham Zach March, 101, Brighton & Hove Albion, Portsmouth Harry Clark, 100, Gateshead Reg Beresford, 100, Crystal Palace Alf Patrick, 100, York City Ofc, there was also Sam Latter, 106 Third Lanark – a few months older than Arthur Smith, but he played in the Scottish League.

So they were “estranged” but still married, still lived together but spent less time together in later years? That’s not “estrangement” Petula, my dear. That’s just called marriage.

    World War II Veterans

John Cruickshank VC (wiki) de... delightfully smiles as he approaches his 104th birthday in May and clocks up another medal. Given the Air Efficiency Award at his home in Aberdeen last week. Apparently it was an oversight as he should have received the medal 75 years ago! Daily Record coverage. Not the best news for the 7 DDP teams that picked him this year, as he looks like he could comfortably see 2025. It's very likely he's also now in the top 5 oldest living men in Scotland at this point.

Interesting to see his middle name was Adolf. Can't for the life of me think why he kept that bit quiet up until now.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

Addold Mossin (wiki), Estonian neopaganist, WWII veteran and politician activist, supposedly died on 16 March, aged 104. The IP address is Swedish so could well be legit. If true this will end a long infatuation of @arghton's, who has mentioned this obscure man no less than 10 times on DeathList Forums!

    Ideas and possibilities for 2025

Yes, Simmons is just an attention seeker. Always thought he was a bit of a cunt myself. Don't understand the cult obsession Yanks have with him. He's got Savile vibes about him.

Authors Last A Long Time, But....

72 is like centenarian age in the Dungeons and Dragons world. Interesting to see he had a wife too. Most of them just take comfort in fast food and cosplaying.
