Presumably that is because children haven't really had a full innings. Also, non-parents, and people who have never taught, believe that children are "innocent", as opposed to "half-civilized". And let us not forget the power of beauty. Children are much easier on the eye, (and nostrils) than the elderly.

The last thread about a sick kid got deleted. I agree with FF.

Care homes probably do have a Deathlist of sorts, except it would be described using words like "informed", "provision", and "future planning". I don't know. I don't write policies. I'm sure there are also a number of homes where they have an actual list. I imagine some bored care worker logging on every Monday to update it, like office Fantasy Football results. My sister worked in one of those places. I'll have to ask her if money ever changed hands

Well put. It is the removing of unwanted words that is the bestest feature of the quote function. In this way, one is able to twist the original comment in order to serve one's own nefarious purposes. I seem to remember Mr Notapotato doing this fairly recently during an exchange with Mr Anubis. Something about finding satisfaction on Hampstead Heath at dawn. Now where the hell is it?
