I'm surprised that you find still having your own teeth at 103 offensive. You young people can be so silly. I meant the t-shirt not the teeth. What? You are 103, still have all your own T-shirt, but you find it very offensive? Fair enough. Keep it next to the telegram from the Queen do you? The Queen now sends out t-shirts with amusing slogans instead of telegrams (just one way of modernising the Royal Family). you're not a member of the Royal Forums, are you????

It's not the first time it's happened ... so maybe he'll die if it happens again. Yes, I understand that, although I've been told kids fall ill regularly. My point is: he isn't a celebrity, is he? Are you hoping the distress about their sprog's illness will affect his parents in a life-threatening way? regards, Hein I would say he is a celebrity, as are all well known children of celebrities.

IYG doesn't deserve the luxury of a moderator. Espeacialy if he changed the great Banshees Scream's posts. I would drop him down to a pointless ranter.. F**k IYG.. Why is it a luxury to be a moderator BS? - You can change any post to your delight - You can delete any post that you feel shouldn't be - You can edit and change any members profile - You can take advantage of your powers and even abuse them - Sadly some Mods take advantage and the admins don't do a damn thing about it There's a pretty lengthy list. Some mods think they are being amusing by editing the words in threads, but generally they're not. For instance, look at the Richard Whiteley thread in the main forum, whose subject has been changed from "two consonants and a vowel" to "two coconuts and a trowel". This may be called quite harmless (if a bit stupid) but when they do it to members' posts, it's gone a bit far.

    Alex Ferguson

Will Alex Ferguson die soon? Is his death likely? Managing a (gradually less successful) football club at such a high level, at the age of 63, is bound to take its toll on him. Or maybe he'll just go on for ever just to piss the rest of us off.

    John Kenneth Galbraith

I'm sorry, but my life isn't "near of end" as you put it, unless of course I get run over by a car tomorrow unexpectedly, and even then I won't give you credit for guessing that I was near to death. And why is Galbraith going to live "my last days" but "our last weeks". Does this mean that the longer he lives, the more people must suffer with him? Seems very selfish to me.

    PW Botha

Anyone ruling a country where 3/4 th of its voting age citizens were not allowed to vote is a dictator. The blacks were not citizens and therefore not entitled to vote. So he was not a dictator, but a democratically elected President. This is the truth, whether you like it or not. I'm not saying that it was right that blacks were not citizens, but legally this was the situation. Legality and morality are two different things. So, if someone bars all the people from voting who undoubtedly would have voted against him (i.e. the blacks), and then he wins the majority of support from those whom he has allowed to vote, (a small white minority) this makes him a fair and democratically elected leader?????

    John Kenneth Galbraith

Well perhaps a loss for economic sciences but clearly for the Deathlist it will be a gain. Galbraith one of the canidates i have been watching for some time is most likely near the end of his life with rumors galore of his declining health. In my eyes it's only a matter of time before closing in on another sucessful prediction. It will be a bit scary if your prediction proves correct again!!!!

    Oscar Niemeyer

Is he really that famous among the public at large though? I bet most people haven't heard of him. Sometimes I wonder about the people put on the Deathlist. Although if he dies before the year is out, I shouldn't really complain.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2006

Certainly not Bin Laden; his whereabouts are unknown (and likely to remain so), so if he dies, we will probably not find out about it. There is even the possibility that he is already dead and it has been covered up.

    Mr Stats:

Forgive me for saying something blasphemous, but I believe the role of Mr. Stats has been somewhat overexaggerated. I have looked through his old posts and only very rarely are they of a statistical nature. For this reason, I was wondering whether anyone here could clear up exactly why he deserves his particular moniker? Cheers, s.f.t.d.
  18. sympathyforthedevil

    Mr Stats:

Yes, he was something of a legendary figure, whose name was spoken only in hushed tones and with due reverence. Whether he truly ever existed was a matter of conjecture; sifting through old threads appeared to support his existence, but many leading figures of the day pronounced that such a wise and statistically erudite being could only possibly have been a godlike figure, created specifically by the Death List itself to justify its existence. Or maybe he's just a bald bloke from Bognor Regis. Right....thanks for clearing that up. Are you saying my explanation wasn't good enough for you? Or are you still jealous of Mr Stats usurping your position?

    Constant Changes In My Posts

Don't worry, he'll be back. Speak of the devil................ Welcome back TF. I'm not really here you know. This is merely a figment of your imagination. I post therefore I am not. "I post therefore I am not" ; is this some kind of philosophical excuse to post more and more, i.e. the more you post, the less you exist, hence the less annoyance you will cause to fellow members? There seems some faulty logic here, sir.
  21. sympathyforthedevil

    Mr Stats:

Indeed, possibly just in time. There's competion knocking about. regards, Hein Indeed, I believe Windsor was attempting to become the new "Mr Stats". He often posts somewhat obsessively about exactly how many people have died compared to previous years, how many total deaths we have had since 1987, and other such statistics. Maybe the original Statto will put him firmly in his place.

    James Doohan

Leonard Nimoy, a.k.a. Spock, will be the next "Star Trek" star to pass away. His superior Vulcan logic cannot cope with the infantile way of life which we live today. Hence, he will choose his death at a time to be confirmed soon, presumably within the next few years, at a time when he can still mock William Shatner effectively.

    Windsor

Who is 'the authority' ? 'The Authority' was/is 'The Lord Almighty', 'John Bull', 'Colo Colo', 'HONEZ HATER' amoung many, who was/is a wind up merchant who succeeded spectacularly in raising Windsor's blood pressure. Honez, one of his/her targets, took him with the fist sized grain of salt required. I, representing a very small minority, found him harmless and funny. I'd suggest reading this thread to get up to speed on this electronic enigma and the heady times of a couple of months ago. Most found him annoying. This thread went on too long for me to read it all. But I must say, I agree with you Gunjaman, it was very amusing.
