  1. Lol - long term poster short term guest here and I think we all saw once again posts disappearing that dared to criticise this site (ordinarily fine but the subject of this thread is so self assured it doesn't hint that most new posts the hosts can't respond to will be deleted). I think the hosts should admit that, yes, fine, many if not all of the posts added to this thread have destroyed them and they could not justify themselves. Heck why not? And also, yes, sex with a nice juicy corpse is delicious - like my fellow poster once pointed out "my sister died, she wasn't a celebrity but I enjoyed her passing as much as the famous people on here, fucking love that she's dead just as I predicted a couple of hours before she popped it..." Good on him. At least he was honest.

Obvious attempt to be controversial is obvious.

  2. Just watching Britain's Favourite Xmas Song on Channel 4 and Shane McGowan is looking bloody awful on it. A patch on his left eye (which makes him look like a pirate) and he can hardly speak. There were subtitles for him his speech was so slurred

Sounds about normal for him though. I wouldn't take that as a sign he's close to death.

  3. Its his half-brother, Kim Jong-nam, we should be putting on the list.

He has said in the past that he wouldn't accept his younger brothers succession. It has also been reported that he will be keeping clear of the funeral in fear that attendance is seen as a challange to his brother's authority.

Don't be surprised if he disappears, or has a nasty accident: http://www.guardian....P=NECNETTXT8187

Why would he be 'disappeared' if he's making no challenge to the succession and indeed lives his life outside the country (mainly in Macao if I remember correctly) ? Kim Jong-Un and the other potential power brokers have nothing to fear from him.

  4. Saw that interview online. Ungrateful sod...for all the dedication and attention we've shown in bigging up his comings and goings he doesn't even give the Deathlist a passing mention.

Quite. He's certainly no Ronnie Biggs.

He'll probably die on December 31st just to spite us.

  5. How can someone be neither alive or dead?
My guess is that one is the "Any One Beatle" pick.

    Quite right.

    regards,

    Hein

And is that also the "Other" in the gender category? If so, it should really be male as all the Beatles are/were men.

    My attempt at an update.

    Any errors are regretted.

Any one Beatle in 1987. Two are still alive. Should they not be on the list ?

    They probably should be.

They were missed out by the person who first drew up the list for this thread, probably because they make the rankings problematic.

If you were to add on two survivors for the remaining Beatles, does it mean there were actually 34 entries on the 1987 list?

As the list is composed of those we think will die, I've always taken it that "any one Beatle" (i.e. George Harrison) has died since the 1987 list.

However I understand the semantics of this particular entry, and why it could be argued the other way around.

I don't think it's a good idea to eat Spot, for the same reason you don't eat your pet rabbit. From that it doesn't follow that you can't eat an anonymous dog, preferably bought dead.

Not so, dogs are one of the animals that should never be eaten, irrespective of whether they were your pet or not.

  8. eating dogs should NOT be allowed.

An interesting statement, firstly who is to "allow" or "dis-allow" the eating of dog, or any other animal for that matter? surely it is a matter of personal and cultural choice what you consume, not something that is dictated from one society to another.

Secondly, why? Eating an omnivore like a dog is a little more risky than a herbivore, but we eat pigs in this country. True you are more likely to get parasites from an omnivore, hence the proscription in certain religions and societies, but the risk is small if you cook it properly.

I believe grey squirrel is quite tasty and while not common, it is quite often eaten in Portugal, and by a friend of mine, another Omnivore.

    Best regards

    Syd

You have obviously never owned a dog.

  9. A personal favorite dish, toast 2 slices of bread on one side and butter toasted side , take 1/2 a coliflower and cook in lightly salted water for about 5 minutes, make up a small quantity of cheese and mustard source, combine to make a coliflower and cheese source sandwich (obviously with the toasted side of the bread inward), yum

    Best regards

    Syd

What is the source of cheese? A cow?

  10. Anyone want to take a guess on who'll take up the 48 non-Biggs/Dunn spots on the 2012 DL then? I'd not be surprised to see Robin Gibb take the top spot, pretty sure that Hitchens will get a run in the first team this season. PD James "feels" like a DeathList pick as well.

Thatcher and Zsa Zsa have to be kept on until they die.
