    A Joke

A professor at Texas A & M University was giving a lecture of the supernatural. To get a feel for his audience, he asks, "How many people here believe in ghosts?" About 90 students raise their hands. "Well, that's a good start. Out of those of you who believe in ghosts, do any of you think you have seen a ghost?" About 40 students raise their hands. "That's really good. I'm really glad you take this seriously. Has anyone here ever talked to a ghost?" About 15 students raise their hand. "Has anyone here ever touched a ghost?" 3 students raise their hands. "That's fantastic. Now let me ask you one question further...Have any of you ever made love to a ghost?" Way in the back, Bubba raises his hand. The professor takes off his glasses, and says "Son, all the years I've been giving this lecture, no one has ever claimed to have made love to a ghost. You've got to come up here and tell us about your experience." The big redneck student replied with a nod and a grin, and began to make his way up to the podium. When he reached the front of the room, the professor asks, "So, Bubba, tell us what it's like to have sex with a ghost?" Bubba replied, "Shiiiit! From way back thar I thought you said "Goats."

Even evolution is only a theory, in the strict definition of the term. But its a more well proven theory than ID. What's a theory ? A theory on theories

My House In Umbria didn't go straight to video, but actually had a reasonable theatrical release.

Actually the two Ron's were great off screen friends as well. Even after his retirement, they kept in close contact, going round each others for tea, etc.

It's actually "miserable failure". And that's an old, old Google joke. I've heard it about 1 million billion times before. Sorry. Actually failure, without being miserable, works just fine. For a bit Moore, did you spot no. 2 on the list ?

However it is now commonly believed that the Nazis were actually not well on the way from getting one to work. They had a program for its development, but it was not considered high priority, and their physics calculations were all phooey (either due to incompetence, stupidity or covert sabotage by the scientists themselves to make sure it wouldn't work. The latter is often stated by the surviving Nazis, er, scientists themselves after the war)

Cookie Monster BBC's cookie explanation Everytime you visit a website, a cookie is stored on your computer in the Cookie folder. Sometimes this is good, sometimes bad. One use is to help keep you logged into sites like Deathlist.net under your login name - if you delete it, you'll only be a guest until you re-login in properly. Other times its used to 'track' you across websites to see what you've looked at, usually used by advertising companies - not literally 'track' however as the cookie does not pass any identifiable information to anyone so they've no way of personally identifying you or your computer. You can delete cookies perfectly safely - no harm is done by doing so. Assuming you have Internet Exploder, you can delete them by (look at top of page where it says File Edit View .. Etc..) : Click Tools then Internet Options then Delete Cookies. Or you can navigate to the Cookie folder itself and delete the cookies manually, selecting which ones you might want to keep. I'll let you use your computer's find/search function to locate the cookie folder. {Note to the more technically minded - whilst the cookie is gone, the information is still there, most notably in the index.dat file - which, along with another index.dat in the Temporary Internet Files folder, is a much harder kettle of fish to delete. Go Google index.dat } What I would recommend is the following (top of page again) : Click Tools then Internet Options then the Privacy tab then Advanced. Here tick Override Automatic Cookie Handling ; Accept First Party Cookies ; Tick Always Allow Session Cookies ; & Prompt for Third Party Cookies. Third Party cookies are usually the ad tracking ones. Now when you visit some websites a little window will pop up asking you to Block or Allow the cookie. Usually Block. Tick the Remember This. Sometimes you don't want to block or tick the remember this setting - (eg) for sites like Yahoo or Paypal, if you use these services. If you block something in error, go back to the Privacy tab, click Sites, and scroll down & Remove it from the list.
