Eighty-five years since sled-dog Balto died aged 14. Famed for delivering the diptheria anti-toxin to Nome, Alaska. There's a statue of him in Central Park and his remains are mounted on display (see above) at The Cleveland Museum of Natural History. He was voiced by Kevin Bacon in the film (loosely) based on his life.

I don't think so, there was Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud followed by Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who's the third son of Prince Bandar, and there's so many Bandars I don't know any more.

Prince Bandar bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who I think was the son of King Salman (who can keep up?) is dead, reported by scurrilous media to have committed suicide after being ordered to leave the UK. Oman's Sultan Qaboos has sent condolences anyway.

Big 20 years for Judge Dread, who died of a heart attack at the end of a gig age 52. Had a record-breaking 11 singles banned by the BBC.

390 years and no (John) Bull! Composer and musician, often cited as the composer of God Save the Queen/King, died in Antwerp aged 64/65 ish.

Golfer Henry Cotton had been notified of his knighthood, accepted it, then died before it was publicly announced.
-
Nick Clegg OTOH, received his knighthood 6 months after his political career died.

@Spade_Cooley I'd help with image editing if I could get pixlr to work (I don't photoshop) but I'm having no luck with it. In the meantime, if you wanted to liven up Ronnie Campbell MP's bio, this might be worth a read (if you aren't already aware).

Then there's these... The New Saints of Oswestry Town & Llansantffraid, certainly the longest football club name I've encountered.
