Is America one unified whole? Which bit of it are you hating living in at the moment? My face when every English speaking person outside of North America says this same damn thing. We're obviously referring to the Untied States. I'm not speaking Spanish or Portuguese, am I? And when have you ever heard a Canadian call them self American? All that aside, southeast US. Where its hot year around and everyone is an idiot. Quite.

'Sexploitation' film-maker Stanley Long has died from natural causes aged 78. He was responsible for x-rated gems such as Nudist Memories (1959), Take Off Your Clothes and Live (1963) and The Wife Swappers (1969). In more mainstream offerings he was responsible for the 'Adventures of...' movies (Taxi Driver, Plumber's Mate - not to be confused with the 'Confessions of...' films).

What's The Best Insult You've Ever Heard?
time replied to Paul Bearer's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
A former colleague (Charlie) told of one night, how, through a friend of a friend of a friend, he ended up at a party hosted by Robert Powell (the actor) and his wife Babs Lord (the dancer). It should be noted that Charlie was rather diminutive of stature and about as butch-looking as Dean Gaffney. As the evening wore on, Miss Lord/Mrs Powell approached my erstwhile colleague Charlie and asked who he was and how he came to be at their party. Rather unimpressed, she remarked that he looked rather effeminate. His retort was "Compared with you love, everybody does".
