Wow! I feel really bad for Céline. Say what you want about her/her music, but this is a lot of tragedy for one person to have to cope/struggle with by herself. My sympathies go out to her.

William Goldman, who not only wrote the screenplay for my favourite movie "The Princess Bride", but is also the author of the original book. Among his other works (screenplays or novels): Marathon Man, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, All of the Presidents Men, A Bridge Too Far I'm sure some of y'all knew he was still among the living (now 84), but this is a delightful surprise for me.

Video showing a wheelchair-bound Milt Schmidt, meeting with the bruins pre-winter classic, led me to look into Schmidt's health. Apparently, he was in quarantine at his nursing home last year after a bout with illness. Other than that, not much, but I hope he has enough fight to keep him around a while yet.
