Pope Benedict is old and aware of his poor health He is "fading away"

I wonder if he will do like Johnny Hallyday: sent home to die surrounded by his family.

This I do think a big death will happen this week. Will it be politician? An artist? A soccer player? I don't know. But everybody will talk about it for weeks.

Some additions for suicide watch: Larry Nassar Salah Abdeslam Alain Delon Uma Thurman (allegations against Weinstein and Tarantino) Quentin Tarantino Rose McGowan Dylan Farrow Mario Testino Melania Trump (does not seem happy as a First Lady)

What I think about these names. Connery, Duvall and Caine are the most likely to die this year. Duvall would be the first to go. among the women, Redgrave sadly is the one who is the most likely to leave in 2019 ( as his former son-in-law Liam Neeson?) because she looks frail. The two other women I put on "likely to be in my 2019 deathlist" are not dying of course but are above 70. Have they been chain-smoking? Drug addicted? If the answer is yes, they might be in 2019 deathlist. If the answer is no and if they have an healthy way of life, they won't be in 2019 deathlist unless something happen (i.d cancer, loss of child or grandchild, car accident) But being older doesn't mean more likely to die. Just take Helen Mirren: she is 72, older than Liam Neeson but he is more likely to die this decade than her because of the tragic loss of his wife in 2009.

Prince Henrik is on my list.

I put Zeffirelli on my list. Old, recent sexual allegations against him. Woody Allen seems to be a good pick: old, sexual allegations against him. also put Stan Lee. I´ve read the list of 2018 Academy Award nominees and award-nominated roles. I wonder if Tonya Harding's mother, born in 1940 is obitable. Her character in Oscar nominated movie is despicable as hell. She is estranged from her daughter for more than a decade. She does not look well. Put Prince Henrik of Denmark as he has dementia.

Given that Valéry Giscard d’Estaing’s daughter has died, he might die this year. he will be 92 in February

OMG. She was young! I can't believe it. Very very sad.

Won't be surprised if another Fashion Photographers are accused of sexual harassment. It would be bigger tha Weinstein and Spacey cases. Weber, given he is 71, is likely to be a pick for 2019 deathlist.

Just check 1948 wikipedia page Here they will be 70 this year. Who might die this year? 70 is not that old but some of the list burned the candle at both ends. (I.d Ozzy Osbourne)

I agree with you. But she has died today, 3 years after Charlie Hebdo attacks. Don't expect any Johnny Hallyday-esque funeral. too bad. -
Emperor of Japan Akihito, 84, will abdicate in 2019. He told the press he has declining health.
