    Ban MSC and DI

I didn't "not let him in the cup for his own bad behaviour". His own behavior was down to him and the mods. By the timing of his ban, I was left with two choices: either remove him from the Deathlist Cup, or put everyone else on hold until he got back on the SEVENTH of the next month. The choice was fairly obvious and done with no malicious intent. However, after his kind words yesterday, he is now officially banned in perpetuity from the Cup or any "games" I host in the future. He'll know the exact post which brought this about. Yeah, I know, not very rage filled, but fuck it, I'm getting too old.

    Wrestlers/actors

I know. There's only 3 or 4 I'd be sure they weren't getting an obit (Mr Oliver for one), most of the rest are quite possible depending on timing/mood, I only noted the 100% obits. Ahmed Johnson, though. January 1997, second hottest act in the WWF behind Stone Cold. January 1998, complete no name. One of the quickest falls from grace in wrestling history.

    Wrestlers/actors

Going through that court document in greater detail - I posted skimmed over details a few weeks/months back. Since it was posted in 2015, 5 of the 50 wrestlers named on it have died: Jimmy Snuka, Chavo Sr, Axl Rotten, Ron Bass and Timothy Well. Here are the main issues they were said to be facing: 1. Jimmy Snuka – neurological problems, dizziness, headaches, depression, mood swings, loss of memory, confusion, post-concussion syndrome 2. Chavo Guerrero sr – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 3. Axl Rotten – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory 4. Ron Bass – neurological, headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, sleeping problems, fatigue 5. Timothy Well – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, suicidal, fatigue With that in mind, I had a scan for similar issues among the living 45, or multiple of the above issues, which brought up 36! So here are the main folk in that case, with their health issues as claimed. 5 in a year, so it's likely that around 15 of this list will die in the next three years on that form. I've asterisked those who will get DDP obits with no worry. The lawsuit will fail (there's too many discrepancies in it, plus it relies on Vince McMahon knowing all about concussions in the 1970s and 80s when no one else did, and hiding the information from the world) but most of these people are probably fucked. 1. *Road Warrior Animal – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 2. *Paul Orndorff – confusion, headaches, dizziness, severe loss of memory, fatigue, easily confused, repeats himself constantly, paranoid (yeah, hes got CTE) 3. Ahmed Johnson – headaches, severe loss of memory, under care of a neurologist 4. *Kamala – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue, plus depressed and legless 5. Earl Hebner – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue, neurological injuries and cognitive difficulties 6. Dave Hebner – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue, dementia, Parkinsons 7. *King Kong Bundy – neurological issues, cognitive difficulties, headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, nerve issues 8. Ken Patera – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 9. *Sabu – Severe neurological injuries, headaches, loss of memory 10. Barry Darsow – constant headaches, severe loss of memory 11. Bill Eadie – Headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 12. *The Berzerker – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 13. Johnny the Bull – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 14. Mike Enos – dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 15. Butch Reed – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, insomnia, fatigue 16. Jazz – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory 17. Slyvain Grenier – severe migraines, loss of sensation in right arm, dizziness, loss of memory 18. Don Leo Jonathan – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory (which might be to do with being 86!) 19. Shane Douglas – neurological issues, headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 20. *Mohammed Hassan – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 21. Henry Godwinn – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 22. Judy Martin – headaches, loss of memory, 23. Mark Jindrak – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 24. *Marty Jannetty – black outs, unaware of surroundings, headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue, no health insurance 25. Heidenreich – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue, suicidal, congestive heart failure, confined to bed, no health insurance 26. The Warlord – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, fatigue 27. The Barbarian – headaches, dizziness, loss of consciousness, loss of memory, fatigue 28. Rip Oliver – headaches, dizziness, loss of memory, insomnia, fatigue, Alzheimer’s 29. Tracy Smothers – headaches, dizziness, acute short term loss of memory 30. Derby Dead Pool 2017

So, you've got a floor of around 170 points? Ricketts was always going to be a 2017/2018er, but I ignored all the pancreatic cancer victims last year like a big idiot. Wont be the only person to have noticed him missing from a certain team, mind you. Golmard might be a title winning risk he was far too early for me - ony 3 years since diagnosis. Anyhow, the turning point this year will be the Al-Baghdadi/Holmlund double header one sleepy day in July...

March variant then. On this day (using only the final contenders per year...) 2016 Death Impends 80 Heading Nowhere 77 DDT 72 Pan Breed 72 Spade Cooley 71 Sir Creep 71 Bert 62 Gcreptile 61 Crossing the Styx 45 A shake up in that quiet year, as Death Impends and a host of others cashed in big joker points on Ms Feek, including yours truly who was “proper gobsmacked” at such a lofty position in the table. Phil Gartside’s death was a very rare case of all the chasers bar Spade guessing the outcome of a private battle correctly. Louise Plowright, only picked by DDT and Bert of the main contenders, was another What If. 2015 Death Impends 34 Spade Cooley 32 DDT 19 The game was chugging away, with all 3 picking Bob Benmosche. Spade made up a fair bit of the gap with Ahmad “Real” Givens, who just seems like a quintessential Spade Cooley pick, really! 2014 Spade Cooley 35 DDT 22 Drunkasaskunk 19 DDT didn’t have a great 2014 but he still pulled a unique hit on a Belgian opera director to remain in contention early. Also in the unique game was Drunkasaskunk with a really old Scottish painter. 2013 OoO 69 DDT 55 Death Impends 55 Crossing the Styx 51 This Mortail Coil 39 Spade Cooley 22 I’ll be honest, I stopped paying attention to the DDP this year as I was doing fucking shite, and took Odstock’s victory as fait accompli, so when people started congratulating Spade I was highly confused. The above helps show why... Death Impends got his first unique (Tony Sheridan). 2012 ‘arry-Kiri 35 Spade Cooley 33 DDT 24 Norfolk and Good 13 ‘appy ‘arry’s lot took the lead, and scored on Frank Carson, a Deathlist 2012 tip by yours truly. They ignored him and my other one, Sid Waddell, who I’m sure paid their faith back handsomely... 2011 DDT 38 DDT had a quiet month. I think a challenger came with 20 points of him at one point... 2010 If I’m Spared Myself of Course 31 Canadian Paul 23 Tonight Matthew 22 ‘arry-Kiri 17 DDT 16 Rot in Hell John 15 Impaled on the Antlers 15 Banshees 14 OoO 14 It’s a lead among the contenders for Toast! She had a unique dying restaurant owner in her team. 2009 Heaven Knows They’re Miserable Now – 61 DDT – 55 Banshees 29 No Noose is Good Noose – 21 Tonight Matthew 19 Impaled on the Antlers – 19 HKTMN racks up another hit with Wendy Richard. Procession... Or it would be if DDT hadn’t picked up a 26 point joker! 2008 Godot’s Waiting List 58 The Man in Black 57 DDT 52 Banshees 27 Canadian Paul 24 Wormer 20 TMIB nabbed 9 hits by this point, and yet it was the Jeff Healey pick that brought DDT and Godot back into the frame.

Only Famous For Being Ill And Dying

That was me following a Charon lead, but not being convinced of a QO. (The subject matter is out of my expertise.) Was very surprised to see him as an unique. Mind you, I don't even know if Charon plays the DDP, come to think of it.

On an unrelated note, apparently with the forum upgrade, you can block people sending you PMs. That's cool. Might have been there all along, never noticed it before.

In Scotland, we tend to call a spade a shovel. I've retold that joke so badly it could fit in the Joke thread recently.

    Derby Dead Pool 2017

Spade came back from circa 50 points down in 2013, it's not over by any means. Also, Ricketts wouldn't have been unique.

The Cup couldn't wait a week while someone got back from a ban. That's the breaks.

A friendly word of advice would be to not make it a you vs Death Impends contest for popular opinion. It wont end well.

Only Famous For Being Ill And Dying

Must admit I completely glanced over that and assumed Drunkasaskunk had picked the Scottish criminal in the nursing home. But that's Walker, not Busby: the Scottish criminal Busby being Adam.

    George Michael, Innit Peeps

Well, heart attack, 50 is a common side effect of certain pop star lifestyle choices. Anyhow, the host of the DDP would point out its March and thus tough tatties.

Can't really blame the work experience person doing the Twitter that day. "Here, put up the news about Mark E Smith." "Uhm, ok...." (5 minutes later) "That's NOT the news!" "Oh right. Sorry. Just assumed these days..."
