    Queen Elizabeth II

President and Mrs. Biden are going to visit the Queen on June 11th- I am sure it will be a lot more pleasant than the last Presidential visit! https://www.npr.org/2021/06/03/1002838875/president-biden-and-first-lady-jill-biden-will-visit-the-queen-soon

    Norman Lloyd

Yes, looks like Norman Lloyd is gone..... number 9 on my list! https://deadline.com/2021/05/norman-lloyd-dead-st-elsewhere-actor-1234754280/?fbclid=IwAR0NmT9sXCKeBSDWvxTe3wozXOv9px_52TNYVlBi2rEzW0OI0cX2jUpxQJ8

    Walter Mondale

Wow, the 8th one on my list! Rest in Peace Walter! Just missed again! https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/obituaries/walter-mondale-dead/2021/04/19/c14c277e-a1d6-11e6-8832-23a007c77bb4_story.html?utm_campaign=wp_main&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR2ZWBvQ-KA4jPJ8fubLQtHKPUEgXWTPzlugVWuOzK9ais82AnOcBhs7hPM

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

By this time, those fingers are probably frozen in place

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

I agree with you, he WAS a great guy who made the Queen laugh! She will soldier on, and she does have a couple of new Corgis to help!

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Heard about it just as I was leaving the house- I always hear these things at the worst times! Sorry to hear about his death, he was a very unique guy, who dealt with the difficulties of his life by saying whatever he wanted, in the funniest wand wittiest way possible, not necessarily in the most tactful or diplomatic way. The Queen must be devastated, I hope she'll survive this, the greatest loss of her life- looks like it was announced at about 7:30 am over here, 12:30 over there- did they tell you all about it at noon??

    Bob Dole

OH, you're right! I wish they wouldn't do things like that! I wonder how he looks now, probably not any better!

    Beverly Cleary

But you are a guy, and as such would not have read her books as a kid- I think they were mostly read by girls.

    Beverly Cleary

Another one off my list, she had a good long life- I loved reading her books when I was a kid- yes, she should have been on the list, but maybe she's not so famous over there in the UK-

    Opera

A great musician, but a total creep- I am sure they were stoking the fires for him!

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

The interview was done before Prince Philip went to the hospital, so they had no idea

    Tony Bennett

    Here's a good article about Tony Bennett's Alzheimer's Disease: https://www.aarp.org/entertainment/celebrities/info-2021/tony-bennett-alzheimers.html?cmp=SNO-ICM-FB-CEL-ENT&socialid=4453706705

    The Vicar Of Dibley

Looks like Trevor Peacock bucked the system then, one extra year- sorry to see him go he was hilariously funny
  15. chiesa52

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

That would be my guess- the last ones must have been wearing out, so they replaced them- or maybe completely new ones. He's probably out of the woods for the moment- lucky guy!

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

An infection that doesn't clear up after two weeks of treatment, plus now heart issues- it sure doesn't look very good- if he does make 100, he won't last much longer- but maybe they will put in another stint and he'll be okay for awhile- the non- cured infection is another matter- BBC new app, huh? I wonder if that works in the US

    Bob Dole

Yup, visited by Biden- the significant thing is the picture in this article, he really looks awful- they say he is starting treatment on Monday- and the side effects of Chemo are very difficult, even for a younger and stronger person- I think he is not long for this world- maybe the next death on the list, (although I voted for Philip)- He looks like Death Warmed Over! https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/joe-biden/biden-visits-bob-dole-following-lung-cancer-announcement-n1258459?cid=sm_npd_ms_fb_ma&fbclid=IwAR2EnRtAOb-JTpCHDLCt55bJPqS9p6Mee7KajJaF1gbO9EpYL3nxlygCWDA

Harry is reportedly quarantining himself in preparation for a possible trip to the UK- because of Philip

    The 5th death of 2021

since hearing about Bob Dole's lung cancer diagnosis, I am starting to think he just might beat Philip to the punch, although of course Philip is in the hospital already!
  20. chiesa52

    Bob Dole

my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, because it had spread from a walnut sized tumor to 2 lymph nodes- it was therefore out in the system- that's all it takes, doesn't mean a huge spread- my husband lasted 7 more years, but he was in his 30's when it was discovered- looking at Dole, I would say he is not long for this world!

    1. Jimmy Carter

you think he has cognitive issues, but he really has a stuttering problem since his childhood- he has gotten rid of most of it, but the occasional slips are not cognitive, but stuttering

    The 5th death of 2021

I'm thinking Philip, for pretty obvious reasons
  23. chiesa52

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Prince Harry has the same close together eyes that Prince Charles has- no doubt in my mind, he is legitimate
  24. chiesa52

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Yes, even though it's Prince Philip, I bet you are right about that- I saw that with my Dad, and he was only 91! I don't think they will just let him die though, I bet there would be at least some effort- this is when I bet we would all like to be flies on the wall!

    Tony Bennett

    So was I!!!!
