Seen Any Good Films Lately?

the one with Laurence Fishburne, right? Nope, Samuel L........... not saying owt as it would detract from it, but pleasantly surprised that it ain't no Hollywood ending. Never got round to watching the original but I'm downloading it as I type. Normally I detest remakes (The Bad Luitenant etc etc) but this is the best film I have seen in the last few years in that sorta 'action' genre. Whoosh! -
How many Channel 5 viewers even remember him or the original show?? I don't know about the original show but if they remembered how to use the remote control they wouldn't be watching Channel 5. It used to have the odd interesting non-imported show but since Dirty Desmond got his mitts on it there's hardly been a single original programme on there Well someone's going to look a little stupid after reading what I just found on Wikipedia: Perhaps JLCunt can be Desmond's next rehab project

It is excellent, very matter of fact. The first in Pablo Lerrain's 'Chile' trilogy, the second and third are respectively Post Mortem and the oscar-nominated No, starring Gael Garcia Bernal. Both are also very good -
Can I once again propose the permanent banning of guests?

Be a fairly quiet one I imagine Maybe she'll get legless. Takes her half as long as most
-
Be a fairly quiet one I imagine Accompanied by the gentle hiss of oxygen and whatever sound healthcare costs make as they stack up Kerching! And possibility the sound of a shareholder rubbing his hands with glee

that probably means she'll die quite soon That's usually the case. Walter still looks ok, he looked a bit like he was in a world of his own last week when I saw him at the grocery store, then once the announcement about Joan entering hospice care probably explained his somber mood. you know them personally? I live in Minneapolis and he shops close to where I live at a store called Lunds in N.E. Minneapolis. in that case please pass on my condolences on behalf of deathlist I'll pay you if you do, try and record a photo of his reaction! "Sir, I subscribe to this website, we speculate on people who are about to die..."

One of my favourite actors, don't think he ever gave a bad performance

I didn't see it myself but heard it wasn't up to much. The reason it scored such a high rating was partly nostalgia and the fact it was on Boxing Day, a time when most people are sat vegetating in front of the tv It was an easy watching piece of TV whimsy but the thing that everyone seemed to think was how much everyone missed Ronnie Barker. The new series will need to establish something more than just characters coming on and saying all their recognisable lines otherwise it will end up like the later series' of Allo, Allo. Reviving old sitcoms rarely works, for every Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads there is a dozen Liver Birds, Grace and Favour, the Legacy of Reggie Perrin...

Yes saw it when it came out, wasn't bad, wouldn't go so far as to say it was brilliant but a promising debut for Considine. Very Shane Meadows-esque -
How does he manage to hold the razor??

Aye, that'd be a bummer all round. Oh, there's my coat! Dearie me

Can't rule out a Stonewall assassination coup...

Well that's not true now obviously. Did anyone else catch this on BBC4 earlier? It still holds up quite well. So what is the oldest sitcom where all the main cast are still with us? Red Dwarf maybe? Never The Twain ran from 1981-91, starred Windsor Davies (b. 1930) and Donald Sinden (b. 1923), both still alive. Derek (not)Deadman also still breathing, Honor Blackman and Zara Nutley both had supporting roles at various points, also still with us

No condolence visits, no flowers. regards, Hein There's one consolation, now he's pushing up daisies Most gardeners spend time getting rid of daisies. I'll wager this one's not happy with pushing them up. I don't hear him complaining

Anyone else seen Wolf of Wall Street? Found it highly entertaining, much in the same mould as Goodfellas, Casino and The Departed, very long but engrossing for the most part, especially considering how repellent most of the characters are.
