That's expecting far too much from someone of my meagre knowledge of HTML! I've been looking around for some inspiration on the new layout. How about something like this?

I don't think prince Von Golddigger cares, as long as Zsa Zsa carks it pronto. (And neither do I, to be honest.)

Is 2010 On Track To Be The Slowest Year For Celebrity Deaths?
Tomb raider replied to BCAlum2000's topic in DeathList Forum
I d/ agree w/ u/. B/c 2010 - celeb/ death-wise - is going as slow as sh*t through a funnel. But it's not even september yet, so plenty of time to set things straight. -
For our english-speaking friends - some of them engaged in the NDP too - a translation of the Telegraaf-article:

Prince Carlos Hugo, former brother-in-law to the queen, is dying.

As mentioned in the oscar-winners-thread: Robert F. Boyle died. A unique pick and 7 points for me! I did not yet manage to find a proper UK obit, but I'm sure one will show up shortly. Any reference to the death of Paul cardinal Mayer in a UK national newssource would be appreciated as well. It would bring me into the top-50 and it would prove my life to be worth living.

Dead. Woot! Another DDP hit! A unique pick as well, so that's 7 more points in the pocket.

You bet! Have a nice holiday!

Zsa Zsa is doing better and is expected to leave hospital soon. I'd say she's a huge favourite for becoming the next DL-hit though (if there's going to be one... it's an exceptionally quiet year thus far).

The Iranian authorities are in denial. It was just a firecracker! (Hmm... why would they lie about this? Do they actually nééd a reason to lie?!) I suppose not: It's more complicated than that. They don't have any homosexuals in Iran!

A witty remark in the Nick Griffin-thread set me on the track of a thorough investigation on Prince Philip's extramarital adventures. And according to the always reliable New Statesman, the duke of Edinburgh had been involved with Zsa Zsa Gabor. I'd say that Zsa Zsa, after realising that her lover couldn't be tempted to leave his wife and mix with the rich and famous, ended up with a fake-prince with a greek-sounding name (hey, in America Greece is something of a province of Germany as they both start with a 'g'!) The same article claims, however: Not sure what to think of that.

The younger Iglesias is not dead yet, but according to this, he worries about the sharks on his ...ehm... nocturnal nude waterskiing trip. When I woke up this morning, how big were the odds that I would be using that expression today?

I think it's been a disappointing tour. The best riders had been more calculating than ever, most of the margin between Schleck and Contador had been brought about by 'chaingate' in the 15th stage and it had been clear since the Alps that no other contestant could match Schleck and Contador. The stages in Belgium were more exciting than the stage over Peyresourde, Aspin, Tourmalet and Aubisque, that was won by Pierrick Fedrigo - a nice chap and an attacker pur sang, but certainly not one of the great champions. I think that says it all.

Hmm, he doesn't look that bad these days, does he?

The very last and final farewell-tour for the Rolling Stones coming up? Hmm, this doesn't sound as if the decision is quite that resolute:

...and another one! Jan Willem Oosterwijk, prominent Dutch economist and former President of the Executive Board of the Erasmus University Rotterdam has died, aged 58.

Crossword. To be or not to be? ... that is the question! Beer or wine?

UPDATE: Alas, not dead yet, but the future is still looking grim for Joran, as he has been arrested in Santiago de Chile and is facing extradition to Peru. Not sure about this, but I think circumstances in Peruvian cells are unlikely to be preferred over Dutch gaols.

Er... Who?! Explorer, Netscape or Firefox? Sorry old boy, I meant this slag or that slag Ah! The four of them still don't ring any bells here, but after thoroughly and critically scrutinizing their respective ... er... talents, I'd pick the second one. (Who could withstand square boobs?!) Explorer, Netscape or Firefox?
-
Yes, another NDP-hit! Former Dutch MP, mayor and media supervisor Helmer Koetje is dead.

Vaagheid: why have you been removing all your previous posts? It's making threads like this even more incomprehensible than they already were...

What's the problem? The autopsy is not likely to point out that the man is still alive, is it? And the DDP-rules do not exclude a murder- or suicide-victim from scoring, the only exception to that is when the 'celeb' (loosely used, in this case) is murdered by the DDP-player. ("That's cheating, and cheating is wrong.") If Vaagy can prove that he was nowhere around LA last week, he shouldn't be too worried about that, me thinks. The only reason for delay could be the unnatural causes-bonus. Why wait for that? TMIB can award the regular points and add the bonus later if the autopsy report should indicate anything irregular.

Thatcher! Just thought I'd go for one that should please the brits among you.

Argh! You were just 1 minute earlier than me! He IS dead, though! Hip hip hurray!
