Spontaneous Combustion Call me a cynic (actually don't because that wouldn't be funny at all) but it seems more than a coincidence that nearly all cases of 'Spontaneous' combustion occur beside a fire?

Canny DDP participants may find out who the superstars of speed eating competitions are and maybe have a punt... I've checked out the photos of the 4 main protagonists, Takeru Kobayashi, Joey "Jaws" Chestnut, Sonya Thomas (a.k.a. "The Black Widow"), and Patrick "Deep Dish" Bertoletti, and surprisingly they all look quite young, trim and healthy. From Thomas's Wikipedia page: "To stay in shape, Thomas has one big meal a day, with lots of green vegetables and fresh fruit, and always avoids junk food. She exercises by walking on an inclined treadmill for two hours, five times per week. She also regularly visits all-you-can-eat buffets at restaurants. The night before a contest, she fasts all night in order to put an edge on her appetite." What shape is she trying to stay in? My guess would be 'Pear' shape

Or even how they can put up a 10 year fight about being asked to 'Travel' on the grounds that they are 'Travellers' and therefore have rights which seem to include not travelling?

Note that being from Maryport you're not disputing that it's grim! Do you have day trips to Cleator Moor and Sellafield?? I think its Maryport where they've spent about £20 million making the harbour area look nice (think that is the photo you are using?) - bit of a shame that the rest of Maryport looks like Danny Baker's arse/throat! There are a few places in West Cumbria could have their own Death List - Cleator Moor (survives thanks to Brannans Thermometers and not much else), Prospect (should be renamed No Prospects), Aspatria (survives thanks to Sealy Beds and not much else) - I'm sure you could add to this list.
