I have a number of 50p’s with various designs on them. The first coin I had was an old penny which was dated I think 1692 with George 3rd(?) on it. It was probably the size of a half crown (12 & a half pence for all you whippersnappers out there) I remember decimalisation very well, I even made one of those keepsakes of old money that was made on Blue Peter made from a Dairy Lea cardboard round box. I don’t have too many coins now, the best I can do is about half a dozen silver threepenny bits.
