    Space Tourists

Now that Space X have said that they will take high paying tourists on a trip round the moon and back are we taking bets on who will go and whether they will get back again or not? Two people have already signed up but their names have not been issued yet.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis

The gawdoffal stench of barbeques is in the air this evening, I really fucking hate that smell and the taste of the food is even worse and that is if it is even cooked properly. I have never seen the attraction.

    The World of the Snowflake

Personally I never missed a thing on TV as I don't watch any of the chanels that had all the coverage anyway, I would not even have known about his death if there had not been a banner at the botton of the screen on Dave, I saw that as i was flicking through the chanels looking for something to watch while having sometghing to eat. I have no problem at all with the saturation coverage of things like this, they can use as many chanels as they like to mourn, I won't let it bother what I do with my day.

Weather report - it has been snowing heavily at the BBC. The BBC has received 100,000 complaints from members of the public over its coverage of the Duke of Edinburgh's death, according to the Sun newspaper. The corporation cleared its schedules to cover the news when Prince Philip died on Friday, at the age of 99. EastEnders and the MasterChef final were replaced by news programmes, while BBC Four was taken off air completely. Oh Didums, did you miss your programmes?

Hardy Krüger, the one that got away, is 93, he was sentenced to death in 1945 so he has done quite well considering.

    Each Year's Most Significant Death.

Phil is probably the most 'known' person to have died this year but at 99 I doubt if you could say significant, I would suggest that we are looking for someone that was not expected to die anyway and be well known. It would really need to be someone not suggested by the members of this forum as yet.

    The World of the Snowflake

You seem to think that other people are not allowed to have an opinion about something if it differs from your own opinion so what does that make you. I post my opinions and I don't give a shit whether you like them or not so just put me on ignore if you don't like what I post. I don't go following you around the forum and picking up on every little thing that you post. You seem to hold yourself to a higher level than me, that's fine but just don't try to talk down to me.

    Interesting Ways To Die...

Woman Gets Stuck and Dies in Charity Bin While Dumpster Diving A woman was found dead inside a charity bin in Queensland, Australia on Monday after she became trapped in the opening mechanism while “dumpster diving” for donated items, according to authorities. The 43-year-old woman’s body was discovered by a member of the public who was dropping off clothes outside a shopping centre in Burleigh Heads just after 7AM. She was dangling “half in, half out” of the bin. Police believe the lid to the chute dropped down while she was reaching into the bin, wedging her there—although the exact cause of death is as yet unconfirmed. It is not being treated as suspicious. https://www.vice.com/en/article/4adkmg/woman-gets-stuck-in-charity-bin-dies-dumpster-diving

    General Non School Massacre Thread

Six family members were dead in apparent murder-suicide in suburban Dallas after two brothers made a suicide pact that included the deaths of the other relatives, police said. Allen police discovered the deaths after a concerned friend called police around 1 a.m. Monday worried that a person was suicidal, police Sgt. Jon Felty said. "The two brothers had entered into an agreement that they were going to complete suicide, and from that, it went to where the entire family was taken with them," Felty said. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/6-dead-texas-apparent-murder-suicide-after-brothers-made-pact-n1263114

    The World of the Snowflake

The Labour leader visited Jesus House in London on Good Friday and later shared a video from his visit online. But after a backlash including from his party's LGBT+ members, Sir Keir called it a mistake and deleted the clip. So you have to check everything before you can even visit a church now....so sad.

I feel sorry for Saturday, all the other days over the course of the long holiday weekend have a 'special' name except Saturday. I don't get the whole easter gism anyway but why no special name?

    Covid 19 ------- Third wave?

As much as it doesn't bother me at all, Lockdown does not appear to work for the long term so the only place that should get locked down in the future is the hospitals - no more admissions for Covid. They should just let people that catch the virus deal with it at home themselves.
