    Scavenger Hunt Bingo Deadpool V

@Great Uncle Bulgaria gets a unique hit with the Russian democracy activist in the Time magazine category but only a second hit in total but only two hits away from victory
  2. I am with you on that. I knew Teenage Dirtbag anyway, Starlight grew on me. The Kylie song is OK to listen to but it does not stay with you and could be any number of her hits but I understand why it has lasted so long
  3. Who doesn't like witnessing a three way scrap featuring Kylie, the boys from Wheatus & dance music nonentities?

Very brave approach having Cuts directly above the word Hunt in their headline

That is a huge result. Overturning an 18,000 Conservative majority at the last election. Neighbouring constituency to mine. First Labour MP in the county since 2015

  7. We were spoiled in January with three quick hits. We also had Johnnie Irwin from the crowdsourced list but not the ones we're are expecting. People like Steve Wright are huge but not in terms of game play

    Disc Jockeys

I stopped listening to Radio 1 when Chris Evans took over the breakfast show so I had no idea what Scott Mills was like there apart from the occasional Top 40 countdown. He has settled into R2 quite naturally. I suspect the people who push these how awful BBC is stories are the usual suspects who hate the whole concept of the BBC. It seems a little tasteless to use a celebrities death to promote their narrow little world view

I think the BBC were keeping him onside. He had Sunday Love Songs and they had bunged him Pick of the Pops despite Gambacini clearly being a better fit for it. If he did have health issues then was he up to doing a three hour show five days a week. Has there ever been an article in which he himself expressed regret at the decision. By the way Scott Mills is doing a great job

    King Charles III

Might be worth holding onto any King Charles coinage that comes into your possession if they are not going to be around for long.

    Statistics

I didn't know where to post this so I have created a new thread. If a mod thinks it is already covered please move it. I was thinking about who are the general Deathlist picks so as a starting point I took my 1000 name longlist and split people up into broad categories. Almost 3/4 of the list is taken up with just 5 categories 254 - Actors 192 - Music Industry 120 - Writers 103 - Politicians 69 - Sport Where the is ambiguity I have used a judgement rather than record people twice. I don't know if this says more about me or whether peoples longlists are similar. I suppose the ultimate long list is the DDP master list. Because this is my longlist it doesn't contain the 450 names on my shortlist who are probably more likely to go.
  15. Once the U2 track is gone I am not going to stress too much about which goes through. Starlight has actually grown on me during the game. Not one I was familiar with before.

Surely that is an old photo. It looks like Glenda Jackson between Penelope Keith and the Queen and she has been dead almost a year

I understand that he was very good at what he did but I just didn't find it all that entertaining. He was very fawning over his guests. Though having recently heard Dermot O'Leary trying to interview Bernie Taupin I get that Steve Wright was at least professional.

I do not get the Mirana Hart hate. She is very very funny in a particular way. She was very good as Miss Bates in the recent film version of Emma

Got an MBE in New Year's Honours but he had only just been given Pick of the Pops to present. Can we have Paul Gambicini back now?
