Of those who have their grandparents alive or dead, do you still have some great-uncle or great-aunt alive as me ?

I am the youngest but one in my generation on either side and there is only one member of the earlier generation left. My Uncle, my mum's older brother who is now 96

That’s true. How does everyone feel about an 8-hour minimum gap between votes? Might introduce unless people disagree.

I read that initially as being able to vote every 8 hours but I see where you are coming from now.  I would accept that rule as I normally try to vote around the same time each day

  10. I think only one of these songs would fit into the category of the most recognisable song by a recongisable artist, one that people who don't listen to a lot of music might be able to pick out and identify

The Kylie track is far superior to the one that managed to qualify in the last round.

However there  are a lot of middling tracks that have just not attracted attention because there are worse tracks that need killing off. Ultrabeat, Appleton and S Club I am looking at you

  12. We have now fallen behind the 2020 list and on Friday 8th March we will fall behind the pro rata rate for a record breaking year.

That early promise is looking a little tarnished now but another flurry could propel us onwards

    In age order:

    Patricia Routledge - 95

    Virginia McKenna- 92

    Sian Phillips - 90

    Vanessa Redgrave - 87

    Penelope Keith - 83

    Joanna Lumley - 77

    Penelope Wilton - 77

    Maureen Lipman - 77

    Queen Camilla - 76

    Floella Benjamin - 74

    Twiggy -74

    Harriet Walter - 73

So only 3 younger than HM, and all 3 seem pretty sprightly, I'd say everyone up to Penelope Keith has a chance - could Camilla cop it in the next decade and could Sian Phillips make it to 100? She seems the most likely of the top 4 in my eyes.

I think it will be between Twiggy and Floella to be the last Dame standing from that team
