Wasn't she responsible for the sacking of Australian PM Gough Whitlam in 1975, though? -
There's a reason behind the sudden rise in UK COVID-19 cases - as of Monday the stats now included re-infection cases for the first time.

It's not even the worst song with those lyrics - remember Cliff's 'Millennium Prayer'?

Bob Hope also had a few minor hits before the rock era.

I used to call him Malt Loaf, which is apt, as he's now brown bread. Never cared for his music.

There's nothing on either of a couple of US based message boards I occasionally visit - I'd expect his death to appear on at least one of them by now.

My proposed theme team didn't make it - I'm still stuck at just 19 eligible members.
-
I may submit a theme team if things work out. I've only got 19 people that match a certain criteria. There's a chance that someone else (or even more than one) could join the list in the next day or two, but it's more likely not to happen until January, if at all.
-
Just submitted my team.

I've found the relevant part of the podcast, but there's nothing helpful in the content, just a list of other things O'Dell did.
-
Denis O'Dell was discussed in a podcast episode I was listening to a couple of weeks ago dedicated to "You Know My Name (Look Up The Number)". I'll dig it out and have another listen sometime today.

After a bit of pruning I've come up with a list of twenty. I'll wait a week or two before sending it, as I'm not certain a few picks will make it.
-
My list is now down to 32 picks, having pruned a few entries over the past few days for various reasons, including deaths. There's still several entries on there who most likely won't make it to next year (or even next week in a couple of cases), so I'm holding off submitting it for now. Plus I'm still not certain as to whether a couple of picks will get a QO.
-
Shades of Mary of Modena and the bedpan, surely?
-
I've pruned several entries from my list - a few deaths, one getting the all-clear for an illness, and another seemingly looking a lot better than they did a few months back. I've added a few more and still have 45 to work through. Still on the list are: Someone who may have died last year - the only evidence being a story on a poor quality local news site, which doesn't cite the date of death. Someone whose plight I spotted on local TV news earlier this year. I'm debating whether they'll QO, despite being notable for two things, so not sure whether to enter them or not. A couple of overseas personalities who have even less chance of getting a QO. A few hunches based on a slowdown of activity, which may simply be due to avoiding COVID-19. And finally another TT racer - although will the races go ahead this year?
-
I won't be entering my list just yet - I'm not even sure if three picks are still alive, and one could have been dead for over a year. I suspect a couple of other picks currently on the list won't make it, either.
-
There's about 45 entries in my short-list at the moment. I need to go through them all at some point to make sure that they're still alive, and that the reason I've picked them is still relevant. I've a suspicion one of my picks died back in 2020, but haven't found any confirmation. Another pick is a major name - I found some footage from earlier this year of them looking very ill, but they seem to have improved somewhat since. I had a theme team lined up too - unfortunately there's fewer than 20 who qualify for the list now, and it's unlikely that anyone else will make the list before next year.

Mark Lewisohn reports the death of Lizzie Bravo, one of the two 'Apple Scruffs' who sang backing vocals on the World Wildlife Fund version of "Across The Universe". Mark Lewisohn on Twitter: "When I was 9 I wanted to be Lizzie Bravo, invited into Abbey Road to sing on Across The Universe. Instead, later in life, we became friends. Her Beatles love never diminished, and she was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother – a funny, artistic, generous human. RIP, Lizzie. https://t.co/4ru6Synfuo" / Twitter

I'd heard rumours that he was seriously ill - hence I had him in my shortlist for next year's DDP.

Perhaps there's a reason why they've been leaked at this time.
