Yeah, flights can be a bit expensive, I agree. Other European cities? Well, I've been to Tallinn (by boat), Valletta, the Swiss Alps and Venice. Never to Norway, Netherlands or Germany though. Where did you hear that Sweden sucks? I think we have one of the best living standards in the world, in many aspects. I guess the coldness, darkness and low population density brings the mood down a bit, but drinking compensates for that.

I was there on vacation for a few days. The city was great. Ever been there? Ever been outside of Uk, for that matter? I've been to Heathrow once, for a few hours.

The weather here is usually awesome between late May-late August. September to November is rainy and cold, but the snow lasts between November and April. So it's very varied here.
