  1. I don't envy the admins. I hated it when I was one elsewhere.

Trouble is I don't think one 'final' time will work. Deathers is fun to read partly because of the ranting outbursts, they're a part of him, I don't think he can avoid it, whether substance assisted or not. The only thing I can see remotely working is the resumption or variation of that holiday type ban that works like a driving licence totting up system, get x first offence and x +1 second offence, until clean for period y when it resets.

But this won't stop an occasional porn flurry or something. Though personally I'm with @Toast on that one, disappointed to be missed. If you don't like an image, delete it. Unless the stuff were actually illegal.

But not all are so broadminded if that's the right term (I don't like it because it makes you look narrowminded if you disagree and are offended by spammed porn, and that's not what I intend) even in this place.

  4. Yawn. It's a direct quote, it doesn't matter where it was published.

    Quote

Paul Smith, a professor and election law expert at Georgetown University’s law school, said Texas did not have a legitimate basis for the suit.

“There is no possible way that the state of Texas has standing to complain about how other states counted the votes and how they are about to cast their electoral votes,” Smith said.

    Source? Reuters.

Your source is a far left network. Trump has over 24 hours worth of witness testimonies who were actually there. Something dodge defo happened, the people who think otherwise are the same people who think Epstein killed himself.

The Guardian? Far left? bwhahahahaha. It gets used because most of the other respectable 'broadsheets' are behind paywalls.

In any event all they are doing is quoting a Yale educated law professor it's not an opinion piece.

I knew it was a waste of time arguing with you, but sometimes a marker has to be put in the sand simply to point out that your view isn't unchallenged.

He doesn't have ANY case, just a shipping container full of dummies labelled 'pram ammo'.

Texas also is asking the supreme court to delay the 14 December deadline for electoral college votes to be cast.

Paul Smith, a professor at Georgetown University’s law school, said Texas did not have a legitimate basis to bring the suit.

“There is no possible way that the state of Texas has standing to complain about how other states counted the votes and how they are about to cast their electoral votes,” Smith said.

Trump’s campaign and his allies have pursued unsuccessful lawsuits in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and other states, making unfounded claims of widespread election fraud. Judges appointed under Democratic and Republican administrations, including Trump’s, have ruled against the president’s campaign, often in excoriating tones.

Trump lost those four states after winning them in 2016.

The supreme court is not obligated to hear the case and has said in previous decisions that its “original jurisdiction” that allows litigation between states to be filed directly with the nine justices should be invoked sparingly.

If you're this badly affected by a spazoid across the planet calling you an idiot, then the internet probably just isn't for you.

Not in the slightest, beats being bored rigid  by Iain  or The Old Crem. or sometimes yw

    Go well spazoid :)

  8. "Oh damn you're right. I completely forgot to give you your medal, Here you are, how silly of me."

And when I show it to you, your response is that of an 8 year old.

    Done here.

I'm way past worrying about embarrassing myself, that ship sailed long ago. Can you say the same?

  9. Exactly the kind of response that gets everyone totally pissed off with you. No possible admission of error in any form. I stand by what i said in the first place. I have no idea what makes some North Americans behave this way, but you just prove that for some reason some of them do.

I’m not calling you the idiot. What Ulitzer and Quim said is ignorant and factually-incorrect. They are the fucking idiots.

If you think Uli and Quim are idiots, I'd suggest you need a good long think about that. There may well be idiots around here -  but they aren't them.

Fire it about all you like, but justify it, and you are nowhere near. (nor in my opinion will you be, the targets you are choosing make far more sense than you do so far).

    carry on.

covid killed 2 people on the list who were already on their last legs and it took 10 months prior subsequent to the arrival of covid in Europe to kill anyone on the list

    No?

Not much of a fan of FTFY generally, well, not for spelling or general grammatical errors where the meaning is clear and it's just a typo, (largely because sooner or later I'll have egg on my face when I inevitably do it)  but I can't get my head around exactly what you mean if you did mean to use prior.

    You guys are fucking idiots

And you're yet another North American self-satisfied twat. You call out the things you think are wrong, and go deadly quiet when your own mistakes are pointed out to you.

Ask me for an example, I double dare you.

None of these sports have high incidences of dementia amongst their respective sportsmen.

Particularly not American football or ice hockey – BECAUSE THEY'RE COVERED FROM HEAD TO TOE IN PADDING AND PROTECTIVE GEAR THAT COVERS EVERY FUCKING SQUARE INCH OF THEIR BODY!!!

To be fair - as well they should be.

And in any case it makes fuck all difference how much padding you wear if the damage is caused by the brain hitting the inside of the skull there's simply no way to pad that.

Same shit has been argued for cycle helmets and don't fucking start me on that one. ;)

I'm not disagreeing Uli, all I'm trying to point out is there's a lot of arguments that surround this topic and one needs to be careful.

Impressed. What happened to Steve the rude troll? Actually strike that, I  don't care. Cool.

Not that my approval means a fucking thing. but anyway, good job.

    Virgo Supercluster thing!

Doubtless one or other will point out that we all live in it since it's a region of space that includes the milky way, which of course is technically quite correct. But the point is they are the only 2 that feel the need to actually include it under their avatar.

True, I don't think I ever understood more than about 10% of his posts, max. Takes some dedication to be that unintelligible.

I think it's living in the Virgo Supercluster that does it :sherlock:..

There are now 2 people (or possibly greys? Whatever) within the last few hours that you've considered (and you're not alone), have an 'interesting' (or drunk) viewpoint or two, and both claim to be from there or at least partly from there.

I knew I'd seen it as the habitat for more than one of our members, and now they're both within a few posts of each other just above.

Neither of them is Bladan either.
