Right: *Rolf Harris, the No.1 from 1969 to 1970, was added, so that's 28 No.1 hits, but it's still only 4 songs that make it into the Grand Finale.

I don't know who or what you mean... On the other hand, it's also interesting the twist that such a simple game can take, even if it's not to my liking. This game is inexhaustible. Imagine, for example, we would play a KoS with all the singles releases by Elvis Presley or Elton John - that would certainly take forever!!! But why not, we all hang out here in the DL-forum anyway, so let's play...

Although the first single release was always more intended as an appetizer for the upcoming album... that's how I always saw it. Of course there are exceptions. Some acts were certainly more album sellers than singles sellers, Pink Floyd is definitely one of them (with the exception of "Another brick in the wall").

Well, her own fault. "Whole lotta love" would certainly have been a No.1 song in the UK as well, I guess.

I just stumbled across the results of the German No. 1-Voting 1970/1971 (from July 2015!). It cannot be compared to our UK voting, because there are mostly different No. 1 songs, but „In the summertime“ also wasn't very popular. In addition, I would like to point out that „Paranoid“ and „Whole lotta love“ were No.1 hits in Germany in 1970! Very very cool! And I really like „Rose Garden“ as the forum's favorite song from 70/71. All in all this song finished 5th in the Grand Finale!!! 01. Lynn Anderson - Rose Garden 02. Daniel Gérard - Butterfly 03. Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love 04. Norman Greenbaum - Spirit in the Sky 05. Peter Maffay - Du 06. Black Sabbath - Paranoid 07. The Soulful Dynamics - Mademoiselle Ninette 08. Frijid Pink - House of the Rising Sun 09. George Harrison - My Sweet Lord 10. The Sweet - Co-Co 11. Pop Tops - Mamy Blue 12. Creedence Clearwater Revival - Hey Tonight 13. Roy Black - Dein schönstes Geschenk 14. Simon & Garfunkel - El Condor Pasa (If I Could) 15. Peret - Borriquito 16. Miguel Rios - A Song of Joy 17. Mungo Jerry - In the Summertime

@ladyfiona gets a chance to catch up on her points. However, this should be and remain the exception: Incorrect voting should be named and skipped. However, the user has the opportunity to submit a new and correct vote. The rules are not difficult: + 4 and - 6 points can be awarded once a day. Of course, the constantly changing order of the songs makes the game a bit confusing, but that's the way it works and all players need to concentrate a bit. It also makes a difference whether you're playing on PC or mobile: copy, paste, delete, mark, change... it's certainly more difficult on mobile. Thanks to all users who point out minor errors or bring order to the order! Otherwise, it's nice when this game is used for fun or distraction. Your comments are great and I hope we can get through the whole 70's together!!!
