Now I'm fairly sure that most people know about UKIP and those who wish to vote for them can do so in the alphabetically ordered list in the lowest position. But for those not fully "compost-mental" then this will wick away vital votes and depress the UKIP vote. Big question is (beyond the little know mad folk down at the English Democrats). Who put up these other mavericks? I think the Tories themselves have most to gain in acting to depress the UKIP vote. Crafty. I found this while going through my bookmarks, I remember I first saw this a couple of years ago. It's a "classic" from the dark, weird side of YouTube. Yes - someone put together a compilation of some of the incredibly crap "jokes" that Roy Walker used to tell at the beginning of an episode of Catchphrase. Note how some are so crap the confused audience often isn't even quite sure when to laugh. I think I was a lot more masochistic when I first watched this, so I enjoyed it more. I don't now. Don't say you weren't warned.

I think it's just he's an old man, and the previous editor decided that being an old man who used to have a funny/well known show lends the paper some kind of old-school "credibility". And the new one decided that it just makes them look like a place full of old people. I've actually read some of his recent columns (something to read while on the shitter I guess) and they were moderately entertaining just because of his writing style despite the fact that 98% of the shows he reviews I have never watched and have no intention of watching. I did get a bit annoyed when he used the word "piquant" recently though, very shit and pretentious-seeming word that makes me gag a bit.

If I was in hospital with all this shit I certainly wouldn't give a shit about a divorce. And anyway why would it bother him that much? He obviously didn't give enough of a shit about his wife in the first place to refrain from recreating the X-rated deleted scenes from Carry on Nurse, did he?

It's amazing you actually mention that because I have a minor but funny anecdote that combines mining and education too, but I don't wanna say it "out loud" here on the remote chance that an annoying person who remembers it/was involved but who I don't wanna hang around with any more, recognises it and realises this account is me.
