    Ideas And Possibilities For 2009

Hmmm... Quite possibly so. But considering the 2nd report contains the "suicide" quote from the same man that thinks Rudolph Hitler was leader of the Nazis, then I'm hardly inclined to believe anything he might say. Anyway, in other news, Jeff Healey has cancelled all forthcoming concerts due to complications in his cancer fight. err.....is Jef Healey big enough ?

    Peter O'sullevan

from memory there was a chunk about Sir Peter in LAST weeks Times .....he was a little bit " if my time is up....I've lived a good life....etc..." . Could be a one to watch in my opinion. When a celeb goes down the route of "I haven't got long" , it may be true...

    Michael Winner

have to agree with Mr Popoff here...I think he looks extremely peaky....bad make-up , and the obvious food excesses are taking a toll . He could keel over at any time in my humble opinion

    The Hartlepool Deadlypool

Try this link perhaps. I had the same problem with a window which was already open when I uploaded the new page. No amount of refreshing or cache emptying would sort it. As regards Emily Perry, I was wondering why anyone thought that lovely looking young lady might be a possible candidate. I took her for an improbabe. But since she's so pretty, we'll let the picture stand for a day or two. Lend some sex appeal to the whole thing and all that. HAH !! Just found this thread 10 mins after posting on the deadly-board

    Seen Any Good Films Lately?

Perhaps its me...but I watched this yesterday (via a free months subscription to "LOVEFiLM " ) . Possibly the worst film ever-made . Apart from a few fart and knob gags , there weren't any laughs . Maybe it was supposed to be some sort of Aboriginal historical record with a hidden meaning I didn't get it anyway.....I gave it 60 mins or so...so I dont know how it ended....

    The Deathlisters Alternative Footie Thread

OK, I'm in . I'm much better at death than I am at football when it comes to leagues though. Good man! Anyone else? DWB Unfortunately due to Managerial commitments (I have 2 other teams already) , it appears I cannot join . I've even tried resigning from one of my current teams , but no luck . If I dont access 1 of my teams , I think I get sacked after a month , but I guess thats too long for you all to wait ? Sorry...I shall have to decline

    Derby Dead Pool 2007

I agree that Lindsey Hughes was far from being a nobody , and deserves an obit....especially cos she was a Brit . Hats off to anyone who picked her....I started a long discussion about her I think on this thread (could have been another thread....could have been a completely different message board....who can remember after a bottle or three of charddonnay?) Anyway....I'm still trying to get over the lack of an obit for June Callwood . What I have learnt , though, is that very famous non Brits may well miss out on the obit .....I'm definately going to stay away from all those foriegners next year (cue racist rants from guests...) Excuse the spellings....hic....

    Ian Paisley

I had Paisley down as a decent choice for sometime in the next year or 2 . With this latest news....Im not so sure . I reckon he will take a back seat on the political front....get the blood pressure down....and last at least another 2 years....

    Ideas and possibilities for 2008

It stems back to when they played us in the League Cup in 1996 & 1998. In 1996, the official programme notes were not the norm, extremely disparaging towards us, and in 1998, when we beat them, the vitriol the Leeds fans gave us that night & in the days following for having the cheek to beat the mighty Leeds at Elland Road(!!), stuck long in the memory. Then there was last season, when we "robbed" Leeds of their so-called "rightful place" in the Premiership. That's right.. robbed, even though we got 28 points & finished 4 places above them. Of all our fellow Championship clubs, on balance, their fans were the least supportive & the most snide about us going up as Champions. There's more but I really don't want to go into this in detail any more as this is not the right place & my opinion won't be swayed here as it hasn't been swayed in over 10 years. All I can say is good luck Southend, Barnsley, Hull & Burnley. Indeed. How have the mighty fallen...perhaps a spell in the third tier will teach them to be less arrogant. I think Reading have been a refreshing addition to the Premiership, although you really, REALLY should have knocked Man Utd out of the FA Cup! It looks bleak for Leeds.....and as I work for a company that is a major sponsor , I will be sad to miss out on the Corporate Hospitality . However...I will laugh if they go down !
