    The Hartlepool Deadlypool

I've just looked at the scoring system....you're joking right ? Or is it just a means to exclude women ? ('cos they will NEVER understand it )

    The Hartlepool Deadlypool

Now I've checked his piccies out....he does look vaguely familiar....however , still seems a bit obscure to warrant inclusion .

Anyway....heres this years winning entry .... 1) Richard Adams 2) Henry Allingham 3) Peter Coe 4) Bill Deedes 5) Basil D'Oliveira 6) Charlie Drake 7) Michael Foot 8) Gerald Ford 9) Charlton Heston 10) Jimmy 'Jinky' Johnstone 11) Harper Lee 12) Henry Lincoln 13) Joe Longthorne 14) Brian Mawhinney 15) Patrick Moore 16) Harold Pinter 17) Lou Rawls 18) Corin Redgrave 19) John Spencer (JOKER) 20) Rachel Squire theres some good'uns there eh ?

    Derby Dead Pool 2006

I'm RIGHT looking forward to DDP 06.... 2005 was my first attempt....and I'm hopeful of scoring better this year . However , a couple of my surefire unique picks are (I fear) going to be picked up by sicker and sadder people than me who scan the local news 24/7....

    Robert Robinson

yes indeed...back to the thread . When was the last time anyone saw him out and about (tv wise)? Could be a decent outsider in my view.....

    Ariel Sharon

Lou Rawls ....I only heard of him maybe 5 mins ago via this message board ! Looks pretty healthy to me.....though maybe its an old picture Pinter is a decent pick....but I think he's still got a little life left in him . When you start picking up awards...it keeps the brain (and memory) active..... Doesn't look like you will reveal a surprise find...... we need to touch base Jan 1

    Arthur C Clarke

cant see him meeting his maker in 2006 . Being stuck in a wheelchair and waited on hand and foot makes for a long lingering existence , I'd say . Shame really.....

    Ariel Sharon

and who might that be then ?

    Ariel Sharon

    yes...but Maggie is a strong lady....Sharon is a soft fruit......if he lasts a few more days....ITS JOKER TIME !!!

    Margaret Thatcher

I see Anthony Barber popped it over the weekend......one of Heaths cronies....I do think that elderly politicians are well worth a punt in the ol' game of death . Unbelievable pressure takes its toll . Unlike members of the Royal Family....who live a pampered life...and grow very , very old !

    Margaret Thatcher

Can I just say (losing my cherry here...) Maggie was the greatest thing to happen to Britain in many a year . I shall certainly NOT be including her on any of my lists
