I note in the report of his death, that recently he was given a bath. He said he didn't wash as he didn't want to get sick. Case proven. Mass wash = death. Let this be a lesson to everyone not to wash. -
Leslie Jordan becomes the first faller of series 14. Busey would normally have been odds-on to be the first.

People Who Are Dead According To Wikipedia...

It does seem very precise, death place and everything. Does it have any legs I wonder? The other thing - that struck me with Rolf Harris recently - is that there's a good chance they'll not announce the death until long after the actual event and subsequent cremation etc. -

Yes. Any member of that squad will not die off-radar. -

He's not just a club legend, he's a national legend. He was - until this - in exceptionally good health. So much so, I felt he would easily be the last survivor of the 1958 World Cup. Teddy Medwin is that little bit older and frailer, albeit in great shape for 90. Maybe he (Jones) still will be the last survivor, but it's a real shame he won't have full mental faculties. -
The irony is that the book isn't even out yet, out in December. God knows how many prime minister's we will have by then.

Coming a bit late to this but tonight my nine year old asked if she could read tonight and could she pick any book? Of all the choices she had, she chose the book of the 1991 Beauty and the Beast. That reminded me what a colossal body of work Ms. Lansbury had to her resume. This death was also the first time that my wife has run down the stairs at a breaking news flash to announce someone's dead. Not even the Queen got that treatment.

80% there now in terms of progression with adding the 1931 and 1932 births for a much fuller update. But at the same time, I'm checking the old ones and I'm pretty sure I've solved John O'Sullivan. There's only one John O'Sullivan born in Cork between April-June 1922 according to Irish birth records. That gives a middle name of Joseph. John Joseph O'Sullivan, born 30th May 1922 (same date as the footballer), died 13th September 2004, in Australia - https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/231347563/john-joseph-o'sullivan I'd like a bit more evidence, but I'm 95% sure it's him based on the lack of other possibilities. -
Oh no they don't. Never liked him. A sanctimonious smug git who thinks he is far funnier and far more significant than he actually is. Can I suggest Bob Mortimer Michaela Strachan Michael Palin and the recently deceased Murray Walker.

John Duncan, former Tottenham striker who enjoyed managerial success, most notably with Chesterfield, has died aged 73. Well remembered for masterminding the FA cup run that so nearly saw them reach the FA cup final in 1997. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/sport/football/63187788.amp#scso=_MrVBY5TNHrHA8gKu4KuYDw_30:73.5999984741211

Gambaccini looks massive but it doesn't show so much in his face. But that kind of belly can't be healthy

They've been reunited but only of sorts. Stephen Darby, able to walk in the original, is now too ill to attend. Rob Burrow can no longer talk and Doddie Weir is a fraction of the man he used to be. Burrow says he's stabilised since lockdown. It's on a video in BBC breakfast, just trying to find the link. I think Burrow and Darby are likely to go first; Doddie is probably likely to battle on until 2024 judging by their progression. bbc.in/3LH018m -
Mrs McCluskey and Piet Schrjivers I think would've got more coverage in normal circumstances.

If he survives this, he needs to be added on the immortals list. The article pretty much sums up his recent dire health.
